Black Sailors: Legends of the Jade sea is a project that will expand the Black Sailors 75mm resin miniature line with new and exciting models based on the myths of the Far East. Although it is aparently planned as a four miniature line-up, we have many cool surprises prepared should you help us bring this dream to life.

These miniatures have been designed, sculpted, and painted here at the Big Child Creatives studio with the collaboration of some of the most talented miniature artists out there. And what is more, they will be manufactured by our own talented team of resin casting experts. This will allow us to monitor the process closely to ensure the best quality in the market and a timely delivery.

We have learned a lot since our previous Kickstarter almost four years ago, and we wanted to see how far we could take a new campaign. We invite you to join this journey into the remote Jade Seas to discover their many wonders and some of their most iconic inhabitants.

Four years after our previous campaign, we wanted to set sail again and see where the winds would take us. We have been slowly cooking this campaign for the past few years, taking care of every little nook and cranny of these miniatures, pouring our souls into each detail and texture to make each character unique.

This campaign is designed as a journey of discovery, full of surprises in the form of custom kits to make your miniatures even more striking than they already are. Some of these kits will be Kickstarter exclusive, so those of you who choose to support us will be able to proudly show it through unique miniatures, even more full of life and character than our regular releases.

They're all great, but wowza at the orc woman. I really like the styles mixed for that figure. I don't think I can justify it right now either. Do wish these folks the best on their project!

Shipping started at almost €20 to North America  and now they reduced it to ~€14 which is still expensive especially for 1 mini!

I really like the look of these figure - and they would fit very well in my Regency Space game. (Plus, an orc smoking a pipe is wonderful.)

But that shipping is chock full of NOPE! with a side of Nuh uh!.

I love these but sadly out of my price league too. I guess these are minis you'd invest in if you do a lot for contests etc. Very beautiful!

I was on the fence but after sitting on it a few days, I decided to pledge. The original shipping cost to the US was too much but the new cost is better. It is still a little high but is about the same as if you ordered direct from their store. I am in for the Dragon King plus Bocanegra and Swift from their older line. Being able to get the older ones at a discount was the deal breaker for me.

I'm currently in for one and thinking about maybe an add-on or two.  I don't like paying shipping but I realize some companies can't eat the cost.

Looks reasonably interesting, and should be included in these forums. I like the baby trolls.

EDIT: This kickstarter is now Live:
      https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/cmon/zombicide-invader

"Humans came to PK-L7 in search of high powered fuel. They found it with Xenium, a dark, oily compound deep below the planet’s surface. But they found something else too. The Xenos attack was brutal and unrelenting, and they’re still coming. On April 10 at 3pm EST, Zombicide: Invader is coming to Kickstarter. Follow the CMON and Guillotine Games Facebook pages for regular updates on the Survivors, Xenos, Equipment, and Environments of this interstellar battle for life, and look for our interview with the Zombicide: Invader design team later this week. Grab a weapon, barricade the doors, and prepare to be invaded."

Zombicide:Invader is a cooperative game where 1 to 6 players face Xenos, an unfathomable swarm of infected Xenos controlled by the game itself. Each player takes on the role of 1 to 6 Survivors in a sci-fi setting being overwhelmed by these Xenos. The goal is simple: choose a Mission, complete its objectives, kill as many Xenos as possible, and (most importantly) survive!

Survivors will fight Xenos, rescue each other, recover vital data, unveil dark secrets, and much more! Survivors can be Civilians or Soldiers, each with specialized Skills. They all play together as a team, trading Equipment, and covering each other. They use whatever weapons they can get to kill Xenos and slow the invasion. The better the weapon, the higher the body count, but the more Xenos will appear, attracted by the onslaught! Survivors must also be mindful of their location as conventional weapons work fine indoors, but the planet’s oxygen-starved surface, they’ll need to arm themselves with more specialized weaponry… Lasers, anyone?

Most of the time, Xenos are predictable, but there are a lot of them and they use nasty tactics not encountered in previous Zombicidegames. Only through cooperation can players achieve the Mission objectives and win."
      -
I haven't backed a CMoN kickstarter in a awhile, but I think this one might tempt me depending on what the minis and gameplay are like.
