Mark did say he wanted them "out the door" before or by Adepticon. I seen they are on their way to Adepticon, so I think he met his own personal goal. :winkthumbs:

If I remember correctly, he'll be at ReaperCon so I'd love to have the bust painted up by then. Too bad you won't be there, Randy.

Yah seeing their booth & seeing the product was one of the highlights from last year. 

 

Yah the date change irks me but I told work if they let me go last year I'd skip this year & I'm holding myself to that promise. The week after Labor Day over in Eugene & the Oregon Coast will be good for my wife & I at least.

Got my three busts today - woohoo!  Cursory inspection shows that they're really nice castings.  No pour stubs in weird places and I didn't see any glaring mold lines.  Sweet!  Nice to have one bright spot in an otherwise dreary day.

FWIW, I was notified via Paypal that they had shipped.  Not sure if there was another option for payment but, if so, you may not get notified.  Not a bad surprise if they just show up!

It's been a long time since I've handled a resin piece, and I'd forgotten just how crazy crisp the detailing can get on them. Holy cow these are beautiful pieces, I'm super excited to paint them! :wub:

 

I got the 75mm Summoning a dragon 1 bust, the 54mm Summoning a dragon 2 miniature, and just for funsies the 54mm Barbarian 1 mini.

 

The Summoning mini looks really good, though the attachment points on the wings might need pinning (gulp), the notches are pretty shallow. His right shoulder will need a touch of gapfilling, but it's not bad. 

 

The Summoning bust is even more lovely than I remembered! :wub: She was what caught my eye at ReaperCon last year and I just knew I needed her in my collection. ^_^ She will need some gapfilling as well, mostly on the tower and her arms (after I attach them). I'll also need to do a wee bit of filing on the underside of the bust, since it's visible when placed on the tower base and there's a few minor molding artifacts there.

 

I haven't been able to dry fit the barbarian yet since he needs to be de-sprued first, but again the crispness of the detail on him is absolutely phenomenal. 

 

Overall I'm EXTREMELY pleased with the wonderful quality of the pieces, the excellent communication from the creator, and the astonishingly fast fulfillment. 11/10 would absolutely back again. :bday:

Ok, I hear some packages are still showing preshipment.  The packages were given to my casting team, and were supposed to be shipped out already.  

I will be driving home from Adepticon starting tomorrow, and I will be making a detour to stop by the casting facility to figure out what happened. 

I am sorry for the delay, and I will update everyone once I figure out what happened. 

The drive home will take 4 days, so please be patient as I try to work this out. 

But, please know that I am committed to getting your packages to you.  

I will figure this out and make sure it gets fixed.
