I’ve got two goals for November: finish the two remaining familiars (the weasel and hawk), and get six bones kobolds based. I’m using 20mm round ply bases for the kobolds and using green stuff to extend out the flagstone base texture from the intrinsic base, and I’m still pretty rough with the green stuff so that’s slow going.

My stretch goal if I have some spare time is to finish up another metal hero figure

For the past couple of months, I have been tracking my time (in 10 minute increments) across 30 different minis projects.  (Not armies - both my 15mm ACW armies were lumped as one project, as were 28mm Nappies, all my Blood & Plunder, etc).  But, this month is different.  In early December, my FLGS does a 24-hour charity lock-in, where we collect donations for Toys 4 Tots (or similar charities, but along the same idea).  So, this month, I am only working on a few things - the games I plan on taking to play, and then a couple that are big spectacle games, designed for people to drop in, play for a bit, and leave, and that look really impressive for the casual visitor.

So, I tasked a friend to prime a bunch of my CAV models, and I am going to try to get all my N scale terrain together and painted, and then I have a microarmor game to prep and some Nappies to get beyond the primed stage.

Did finish most of my October goals - completed my 35 model commission, plus 3 pieces of terrain for it, as well as the next dragon in the queue, plus an elf.  Also painted two Santa ornaments. Whew!

But that dang Citadel dragon is still nagging me from the paint table. :-P

For November:

- Start on new commission (4 models)

- Continue working on that Citadel dragon

- Start painting minis for Christmas gifts

It's amazing how putting goals in print helps keep me on task!

  • Make a stuffed owlbear out of greenstuff (to match the one on Yoon)
  • Finish the 9 orcs from mid october (only too 22days)

  • Do some mummies (same batch as skeletons)
  • Finish the donkey (same clearcoat batch as above)
  • Paint some zombies (am I sure this isn't october?)

And after that:

  • Maybe a dragon? I've got dragons.

That game is way better with minis.

Still painting zombies. So many zombies. Have the normal zombos, the beefcake zombo, and the flesh golem done and ready for spray coating. Still doing the shading and highlighting on the (I think reaper calls them ghasts) large zombies.

Well other then my Vegas games in Feb next year, I've got these.

Need to do within a week

Nolzur's Shambling Mound (for Death House finale)

3d printed door mimic (again for Death House)

*3d printed sewer grate & turnstile crank (again for Death House)

*I may end up just going with Litko's portcullis but I'm not sure if it'll make it to me in time.

After I get those done it'll be back to Lost Mine of Phandelver items I need to paint up or at least prep for the game.

Top priority do some ruined walls for my castle. Next plug away at elves and goblins. Along with those keep working on siege equipment and paint any random minis that catch my attention.

Been doing a fair bit so I figured give a half month update.

Finished a long breached wall and started on a short one for the castle. Want to do a ruined tower as well.

Painted and touched up a dozen or so goblins and started on the last batch for that unit.

Did a quick paint job on 4 minis to be my kids characters in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay.

Been working on an ice worm that I started years ago.

Still to go, not necessarily finishing this month,

Finish the ice worm.

Finish the ruined tower and wall.

Make a mine head.

Make some pots for boiling water/oil.

Paint 30-40 more goblins. This is really almost never ending but I like painting goblins. No need to be real fussy with the quality.

Paint about 20 high elves.

Been having an excellent month as far as hobby stuff goes. Working on things a lot and feeling motivated. Not quite the end of the month but figured I'd do an update while I can still remember what I've finished. Pics of all of this stuff is in show off or terrain threads now.

Finished the ice worm although I might try out a suggestion on how to make him look better sometime.

Finished the ruined wall. Tower is in the planning stage.

Make a mine head.

Made 4 pots for boiling water/oil.

Painted a lot more goblins. Not even sure how many but finished my partly assembled units.

Painted over 20 high elves.

Painted about 10 minis for Rangers of Shadowdeep.

Painted the Mantic Terrain Crate hedges. No pics of these as they aren't that great and I only spent a few minutes on them.

So current list in rough order of priority.

Paint 5 GW HE reaver knights

Make ruined tower for my castle

Make mine head for siege scenario

Figure out what else I need to make for siege scenario

Assemble and paint my huge Harlequin trebuchet

Paint or repaint the handful of elf characters that aren't finished yet. Would love to say that after 20 years my HE army is 100% painted.

Paint some of my assembled Frostgrave minis.
