Vanja, Fire Giant Queen

Recommended Posts

Vanja's not one of the sculpts I'm crazy about but I love how you did her. It's great to see a mini that I thought was kind of "meh" painted up so good it changes my opinion of her. Love the frost giant queen too. I've been thinking of trying to paint them with pale skin instead of the blues a lot of people use and that's a great example for inspiration.

Thank you! I never really liked her either until I saw the one painted by @Kuche for last year's Reaper Forum Contest. That one is the other (old?) pose but is similar. So I know what you mean!

Presenting the Ogre Tyrant by Games Workshop, he is very heavily armed.

This one took a while, it's very much one of those minis where the more you work on it, the more details you find.
I am very pleased with how he turned out though.

Hi everyone, here are pictures of my latest Gnoll, a converted Toghra the Gnoll Leader. The upper part is from 77235, Toghra the Gnoll Leader sculpted by Jason Wiebe. The lower part of the mini is 77236, Bloodmane Gnoll Warrior sculpted by Tre Manor. The spear head is the blade of 02757, Gastaroth the Vampire sculpted by Werner Klocke and the staff is from 14056 Weapon Pack 1 sculpted by Tim Kaufman. Here's the link to the conversion WIP if you'd like more information.

Presenting Mary Jo, a member of the River Widows faction from Reapers Dreadmere setting.

Had a lot of fun painting this one, and as a bonus she turned out pretty decent too!
