Wizard Van?

Recommended Posts

So I'm fairly good at painting the details that are on a mini, and consider myself decent at doing free stripes or camo patterns, but this next project puts me well out of my comfort zone. I've just picked up a Matchbox van for Gaslands gaming, and want to paint it up in the same style as those airbrushed vans from the 70s, with a wizard on each side(bonus points if he's riding a unicorn) with his staff extending forward all the way to the van's front, where actual lightning bits will be emanating.

Any advice, aside from telling me to put the beer down?

Find an image you like, reduce it to the correct size and trace it.  Then transfer it to the model using homemade carbon paper (scribble pencil lead on the back of the paper, then go over the design on the front of the paper,  transferring it to the model. has potential to smudge, YMMV).  Or do like Corsair suggests!

I've done this. Worked like a charm.
