14292, Reven Orc Standard

Here is an Orc Standard I recently painted for a D&D campaign. It was part of a 14292, Reven Standard and Musician blister I had bought a long time ago. It was sculpted by Ben Siens for Reaper's Warlord game. I mounted it on a 20mm base and added wooden logs to hold keep it straight on the battlefield.

 

The green skin have taken over the stronghold under the mountain. Soon after their victory, they've put their standard on the steep pathway leading to the fortified entrance door. Their war flag is a simple piece of tanned leather on which crudely painted the eye of Gruumsh. The banner is also sporting various trophies from previous battles.

I love this, and I also think that if Reaper were to do another Bones Kickstarter, that they could do an expansion/add-on with different standards representing different monstrous races; goblins, a hobgoblin warlord, orcs, gnolls, yuan-ti,  and other conquest-type monstrous humanoids. With Bones they could even have the luxury of having various pieces of the standard come unattached so that they could readily hang as part of the hanging standard instead of being fused to it like the metal version above.

@Adrift as a fun of conversion myself, I second that, it would be great to have the Boneyard resurrected. On the other hand, I understand it must require a lot of logistic. Also, I guess some parts will be very popular, but some others will be less and maybe the plastic models can not be recycled as easy as tin models. Can the Bones model be recycled? Lifting the lid off pandora's box...
