DSM7986, Augustus the Emperor Cat

Good day everyone, here is a Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals that I completed Yesterday. DSM7986, Augustus the Emperor Cat is three-piece model that was sculpted by Dave Summers. I glued its left hand and tail before painting the wholly assembled model.

It isn't shading on the eyes. The eyes of these models are small spheres, so they are easier to paint. I first paint everything in black around the eyes. I then paint the eye balls. In this case, I painted the eye balls in orange. Afterwards, I glaze a blend of orange/yellow and yellow before painting the black iris and the "white dote" light reflection. The contrast with the pale highlight on the eyes and the iris makes the eyes popup better.
