I finally got around to decorating the mantle this year.  Nothing's newly painted, just gathered together for once.

Thanks for posting that!  I've been needing some inspiration to do something similar.

 

It looks like you've deployed as many non-combatants as you could find?

 

I wonder if there is some way to temporarily (i.e. removably) "snow" the figure bases?

How delightful.  Though it does appear some villagers have partaken of a little too much holiday cheer.  DH and I have collected a village of our own, but have no mantle to display it upon.

Dickensian! I love it, especially the drunken giant and the civilized foppish half-orcs!

The corner was freed up, so I added a bookshop with appropriately arcane townsfolk.
