Glitterwolf
7 hours ago, Corsair said: Question for January 26, 2019 Are you a carnivore, omnivore or veggiesaurus? Omnivore with a preference for meat. I seldom eat fish, don't like it with the exception of a grilled teriyaki salmon or tuna maybe. Love savoury and sweet foods. 2

Been Veggiesaurus since the age of 12, there's no way I could ever take another creatures life and I wouldn't ask someone else to do it for me. This is the only forum I would ever admit my veggie choices, though- some people get really bent out of shape and insulting when they find out you don't eat meat. I mean, what the heck? I find it hard to understand why my food choices upset them so much- I would never tell someone what they could or couldn't eat, so why the sudden interest in my protein levels? 4 hours ago, paintybeard said: Glasgow salad! malefactus
10 hours ago, Corsair said: Question for January 26, 2019 Are you a carnivore, omnivore or veggiesaurus? I suppose I am an omnivore. I try to restrict myself to things I think taste good. I really could care less if they are healthy of not. Various & sundry fast food joints, bakeries, & candy shops would be ideal grazing areas for me.

What's wrong with a poor, innocent Mars Bar dipped in batter and deep fried? It's more of a tourist thing though, but most Fish and Chips emporiums are more than happy to make one if you ask nicely... Far more common is savory food in batter- sausage, fish, black/white/red pudding, hamburger, haggis and this- Yes, that's a whole pizza dipped in batter and deep fried. It's called a Pizza Crunch and it almost make me ashamed to be Scottish 3
Corsair
Even though I am of Scot's descent, I have never had the nerve to try haggis.

I'm of scottish (along with a lot of other things) descent too and have eaten haggis. It's ok if done right. I could see it being a nightmare though. Organ meats aren't my favourite but can't be good if cooked right. Not sure about the whole deep fry everything trend I hear about in England and Scotland. I've tried some things like that at the local carnivals and it didn't really excite me. I like meals where oil isn't the main ingredient.
