Mantic : Terrain Crate 2 KS

Recommended Posts

Got mine. Impressed over all. The main thing is that nearly everything is a lot less bendy!

It's starting to paint up nicely as well. Have taken some of the Bleak hall mansion furniture, done a leather brown spray then Vallejo Wood Grain as a wash.

No notice and my account wasn't updated to say it was shipped (pr even processing), but my order arrived. Looks great after a quick unboxing.

Abandoned office

This was a bit confusing because I got an extra toilet tank, bathtub and icebox. I guess the toilet,  furnace, and sink and drain, trap door, and spilled paint were all part of the same mold, because I have the same package in the cosy cottage. I guess that's what happened to the squirrels? At least now I can do that pink tub and not feel like I'm wasting a mini.

Bellevue hospital stretchers need some  boiling- not sure what to do with the flowers.

These sets do make it pretty easy to give a sense of purpose purpose through layout.

Not a lot to buy, but thorough cleaning - 2 trash cans and custodial carts. 2 atms, 2 video games, 2 drink machines and nothing to put the POS terminals on. Be careful of the shelf items  -they are tiny and dont really stay in place. This one felt cohesive during the KS, but now less so.thr benches are great though. Wish I had 10.

That's it for my 6 sets in the pick and match.

Ah it was supposed to come with curved counters. I thought they were weird vents. All accounted for.

Got mine.  The piano had a leg broken off.  :(  The last KS I got had some superglue issues where it just didn't stick long-term with handling.  I'll see what they can do.

I like it all except some of the pieces are thick or overly large (the standalone terracotta pot is HUGE), but with the warping they had in the last set, I can understand why.

This was my first time buying mantic products, and I'm quite happy with what I got. I bought the Bleakwood Hall crate, everything looks fine :)

Ours was apparently delivered by ninjas - I got home to find it sitting right in front of the door, with Megan having no clue that it had arrived.

So here's Ettinstone, a tile system that should work with most other 25mm tile systems. It's magnetic, double sided, versatile, and super easy to build with. Also it's roughly about $1.20 per 2x2 tile before shipping at the lowest level, and about $1.00 per tile at the highest level. https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1215751272/ettinstone/

The tiles are made in ABS plastic, so it won't break easily either. :)

The Gallant Goblin made a video that really shows off how quick it is to assemble, disassemble, and reassemble with this set, as well as showing how well it works with both Warlock and Dwarven Forge tiles. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvehn-WzpjU

Stretch goals at $18k and $26k for half walls(2x1") and quarter walls(2x0.5", AKA pillars/wall corners).

      Story
Echoes of Camelot: Arthurian Legends is a project that will expand our 75mm resin miniature range with new and exciting models based on the Matter of Britan, particularly around the figure of King Arthur and his Knights. We have many cool surprises prepared should you help us bring this dream to life.
These miniatures have been sculpted and painted here at the Big Child Creatives studio with the collaboration of some of the most talented miniature artists out there. And what is more, they will be manufactured by our own talented team of resin casting experts. This allows us to monitor the process closely to ensure the best quality in the market and a timely delivery.
We have learned a lot from our previous campaigns, and we want to put all this experience to good use, repeating everything we did right, improving upon it, and correcting our past mistakes. We invite you to join us in this journey of discovery throughout the Matter of Britain and its amazing cast of unique characters.
This campaign is a journey of discovery, full of surprises such as custom bits to make your miniatures even more striking than they already are. Some of these kits will be Kickstarter exclusive, so those of you who choose to support us will be able to proudly show it through unique miniatures, even more full of life and character than our regular releases.
