I’ve copied and pasted Mantics reply from Facebook where someone expressed concern over the soft bendy plastic from the first Terrain Crate kickstarter:

”sorry to hear that. As mentioned, the pieces will be thicker and the material a higher grade of plastic to ensure there aren't any issues with some of the thinner items. “

I honestly don’t know how much trust to put into that statement, but the project sure is starting to look tempting.

I have a horrible suspicion that I know who is responsible for the incessant punning.... <_<

That said... wow! I need those pews!

And that forklift.

And that tree....

The Auld Grump - I will need to get an orc named Klaus to man the forklift....

I'm sure Mantic really mean they're going to make the thinner plastic work better,

but i'm firmly unconvinced they will, something will happen, either with them, the factory or quality control and some of the stuff will come out sub standard (probably still worth backing if you like the look of it though)

I agree that Mantic has always intended to make quality products, but they seem to fail as often as they succeed.

However unlike you I’m not convinced something will go wrong, but I’m convinced there’s about a 50/50 chance that something may go wrong.

I was really happy with the few minis, including the giants, that I received from the Vanguard ks, but consider the Star Saga minis a mixed bag at best.

I’m starting to get a feeling that this ks might be a good one that I don’t want to risk missing.

Warehouse set should be good for superhero RPG's and HeroClix!

Mantic's taking a risk by offering terrain outside of generic fantasy, but they'll be the first in these genres.

The plastic for their previous KS terrain crate was okay, tabletop quality. If you want high quality, you're going to pay more, and it won't be Mantic.

I want the quality Mantic previously put out in their modern day Mars Attacks and The Walking Dead terrain.

If they can do that again I’d be happy.

I'm more excited by this, but I'm probably pass in anything too spindly without rcifrnce. I bought tons at retail, so this would likely be cheaper for me

Nothing in todays post interest me, the tree would but the gooby face ruins it for me.

Glad other people are finding things they like.  More terrain options are better for everyone.

Tomb Guardians over the past year has been asked to release our miniatures in a resin/plastic material because a lot of you do not like metal.  So for nearly a year we have discussed and researched the best way to produce a high quality, high detail miniature that is far above the current standard on the market.  We are happy to announce that we have found a method and decided to release all our 28mm monsters in a High Resolution Resin.  These miniatures will come with a 1 year guarantee, if you break one we will replace it for FREE!  Just mail it back to us.   Bobby Jackson, Jason Weibe, Gene Van Horne and Patrick Keith help create these amazing creatures.  We hope you enjoy our Monsters and want to wish everyone a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!
