DSM8116, Sphynx Cat Druid with Staff

Hi everyone, here is the first model I painted this year. It's DSM8116, Sphynx Cat Druid with Staff from model is from Dark Sword Miniatures, Critter Kingdoms - Anthropomorphic Animals. This three-piece model was sculpted by Dave Summers. I've assembled the ram skull on top of the staff and the staff itself before painting the model.

 

2018 have been an amazing painting year for me, with a little more than 100 models painted. I wish you all a great 2019 and hope you will find the time to paint as much as you'd like to.

Oh that's nice. I love the Critter Kingdoms line - I have two of the Schnauzers painted up to look like our own bearded lady.

You have a real flair for the Fuzzy Folk. The Feline Druid is a sinister looking Fellow. The golden eye & the WONDERFULLY expressive face tell his story eloquently.

The brushwork & palette are BEAUTIFUL. VERY WELL DONE once more!

Thanks for all your kind comments everyone. I'm glad you like it. I mainly used the MSP HD paint I bought during the black Friday blowout. I added 31 new colors to my palette. I will be trying up some MSP HD on my upcoming models, the bright turquoise amoug others. I really love these new colors.

Wow Metalchaos done popped off again!!! Stunning work, as always. I just looked it up, and I like yours better than the studio job. So technical and just gorgeous, but how’d you do 100+ minis in a year at this calibre!!??

@Redd Knekk I dedicate most of my free time to painting, not tv, no video games, no sugar, just paint, paint, paint. And, I was fortunate enough to have a lot of free time last year.
