Oh, I just went by the pic in the email, so I'm glad it's being applied to minis.  I don't fire up YouTube on mobile, I'd rather use my mobile data for Pokémon Go and forums ^_^;;;;;;

I'll listen to their pitch since I like their other paints, but I have no need for a line of artists colors under their brand.  Those look like titanium white, carbon black, burnt sienna...

I'm interested in what they're bringing to the table that makes this different than acrylic paint tubes you can get from any art supply. Using these paints based on the video is basically telling me I'm going to have to do a bunch of work to use them, as I'm only painting smaller stuff like Reaper Bones minis.

Very true!  I don't need to be doing a bunch of making my own colors or anything like that.  I take advantage of the many colors available to me from all different paint lines with light mixing so I can focus on painting and maybe very basic color theory.  I don't want to need an art degree to use these.

Mini paints in tubes?  I use oils in tubes and the prep and cleanup times are extended.

 

I'll wait until I hear from those who actually use them.

I am really interested in these but they are quite pricey!  At around $34 including shipping for 6 paints is a bit ridiculous.

 

I'll probably pass and just use my discount and coupon from their bust KS to buy some of their existing paint lines.

I'm thinking similar. It doesn't look like any of the paints themselves are going to be KS exclusive, so I might just wait until I find myself in need of shopping in general. They should also eventually end up in their US warehouse, which would mean lower shipping. 5euro more for a pack isn't the end of the world, if I really want them later. And I can ship to my mom in the US anyway, and she'll visit and bring loot (paints, Trader Joe's peanut butter cups - also creamy).

The prices seem to be in line with professional grade artist acrylics at DickBlick (not including shipping).  Other than packaging, it's not clear to me why these are better than those other acrylics.

20ml is about 1/3 more than a standard dropper bottle.. so $4 per tube isnt unreasonable.. its the shipping from europe thats painful.. maybe we'll get a free shipping SG
