I think my TNG Blu-Rays are busted.  I found this in the main menu:

but it just gives me the same amount of Data as in a regular episode.

Every episode could use more Data. Even the ones where he was playing 3 characters simultaneously. *nods

Huzzah!

One thing I've always wondered about many scifi stories is why the AIs want to be like us. Hello! Have you ever studied us? We ain't exactly the pinnacle of perfection.

One of many reasons I loved Martha Wells’ “Murderbot Diaries.” The MC was utterly horrified at the idea of wanting to be human.

People...... I am just floored as how disrespectful and stupid people are. I am sorry, I am not calling any of you ladies and gentlemen that, just ..... Hard to put into words, without sounding like an old codder.

I represent that remark!

I have accomplished absolutely nothing on my to do list at work today because two of the other techs called in sick, and I keep being asked to cover for them.

I'm not just stuck between a rock and a hard place, the rock is actively slamming me up against the hard place.  Because I can't say "No" to the service calls, but on the other hand, I'm going to catch flack for the other stuff I didn't accomplish today.

Tell them if they expect you to do three peoples work you need three peoples pay and benefits, including time off.

Otherwise you can only do two peoples work, and it will be up to your immediate supervisor to determine which two jobs you will be covering today.

Is anyone else celebrating International GM's Day and/or Read an RPG in Public week?

I had not been aware of either of these things. Now that I am, we shall see.

Welp. I'm well and truly sick. My tonsils are all swollen and nasty, I feel like a vampire has stolen what little energy I had, and my head is throbbing. Damn plague bearers getting too close to me.

I hope you get better soon!

@SparrowMarie maybe use expanded foam insulation board and a Dremel tool for the base?

A keyhole saw or a drywall saw will also do a marvelous job of texturing insulation foam.

Isn't your job basically "in public"?

I hope you feel better soon!

Well, I have to deal with the plague ridden public. But a lot of my job I can hide in the back and do my paperwork in peace. I also tend to hide in the back while reading... cause manga isn't really work appropriate, dontchaknow.

Anyway, I had my throat swabbed and it's nothing bacterial. And it's not flu either. So I just have to suffer until I feel better.

Gonna drown it in soup.

Of course it's your tavern.  Anyone else's place would chuck you out for showing up sans culottes.
