I counted 3 in the picture as well, I didn't want to disturb the nest too much to get a better count. It's possible that there might be one more hidden in there, but I can't be sure.

The odd thing about this is that half the juniper is dead because it's directly in the path of the laundry exhaust. And yet the sparrows decide to make a nest right there.

When you can get free heating of the "apartment" for the new arrivals  it reduces the workload for Mama Bird and Papa Bird.

I like dogs, cats, and horses. Of those three, some, but not all Cats trigger an allergic response. So I am forced to like cats a bit less.

I could be allergic to a horse or two. My sample is only about >>>>>>3.5 horses. <<<<<<

Inquiring minds want to know.

On that half a horse, was it the front half or the back half?

Also, are you alergic to the dander or the hair?

It makes a difference what component you have an alergic reaction to.

Wooo I finished a figure tonight! Roan Heartwood is a druid and the dog cleric's former master; he was her animal companion before she was slain by vampires. Lovely character. Everyone adored her and

So, I woke up to terrible news.  A good friend passed away last night during emergency surgery.  I'm pretty gutted, as is everyone who knew him.  Big Tim was the heart of our race track.  He was t

Ugh, with only around 2 1/2 hrs of sleep in the last 24 hrs I wanted to get in & get out of work tonight. It's a short shift anyways, but the grocery manager asked if I would fill up milk before I left, due to we have corporate coming in, in the morning. Sigh, I'll do what I can but I'm not totally filling it up for them, that & I'm in shorts right now. ::D:

This works on loved ones too.  Well, some.  Works wonders to get hubby to look up, doubly so if you're crinkling a bag of Doritos, or shaking a box of Mike & Ikes.....

Summon Husband works even better with bacon. I made breakfast yesterday and it drew him out of the bedroom and down the stairs. He wasn't quite floating like in the cartoons, but it was close

I am so very tired. Spent most of the night awake keeping an eye on Diva after she was violently sick. Fortunately, I'm not at work today, which is just as well because right now I'm no good to man or beast.

She's now a lot happier and is even asking for food, so I'm hoping it was a hairball related thing.

Edit: Housemate reports that Diva murdered and ate several large spiders yesterday, so that might explain the tummy upset. I phoned the vet and the general consensus was "keep an eye on her, bring her in if it gets worse"

Yes, they do. Your pic, or just found on the 'net randomly?

That is a picture of one of our complimentary toiletry baskets. Whoever labeled that one also did us the same creepy favor on the basket for the brushes.

To make up for the creepy pic, have a cute pic.

I once had to dig Sparrow nests out of the hose ...they were inside the house... Sparrows like the warm.

It was a half-size horse. A little mare, about knee high to me.

I have no idea. Possibly both.

In the case of some specific cats it is none. Thor was a gray tomcat owned by my cousin and he caused zero reaction.

I think the WOOF Air Service is more effective. Or maybe that is SEAL training?
