Made a big mess!! Lol. I'm covered in paint from head to toe. And my phone is too. Good thing I went outside!! Lol.

I bought a Badger airbrush at Reapercon 2 years ago, and I use it very sparingly because I have no clue what I'm doing! But I love it!

Do you think GBO will know I was painting? Lol. **innocent face** what airbrush?

Anyways, I did get a log painted other than me!

I imagine that dock is very busy for her, and she has to stash the proof somewhere. I'm probably going to add some more greenery as I find places for it.

Also, exciting news! I found envirotex lite at my hobby lobby!! They have 3 different resins in 3 different places... And in none of those places do they have a mold release agent. Lol

But I'm excited to try it out tonight afte the Tiny Overlord goes to bed.

That's it for now!

Can honestly say I've never got paint on my feet from airbrushing....:upside:

I may have gotten a little excited and moved the airbrush vigorously back and forth, thus causing spillage.

And then, I may have done it again. Lol.

I was having way too much fun.

Also, I'm sure its operator error, but that thing is like a paint hose!

Thanks so much y'all! I'm really enjoying this.

Corsair, I usually remember gloves, but I forgot this time. Then it was just funny. Our running joke at the house is that my husband knows how long I was painting by how covered in paint I am. ::D:

I have some more progress to post in just a bit, but I need to pack lunches and make breakfasts first. When I sit down to mommy time and coffee, I'll update!

there's probably a few little tweaks, but I'm calling that part done for now. Next, I need to excavate the area for my girl, and patch that up.

Just a reminder to check out Paepercut's amazing YouTube videos. They were instrumental to this creation.

I also decided to make some little greenstuff creatures. So they're painted up now. I may attempt a fish or 2, but not yet. I watched a cool video on making them on discs of resin, and that bears attempting.

Since I finally found envirotex lite, I tried it out, and it is ridiculously better than the other stuff!! This picture is with no agitation or work. I just poured and walked away to see what it would do!

Crystal clear! No big bubbles!

Today my attempt will be on a cheap imitation of my final project. I Gabe a lump of air dry clay with my mud mixture and a plant on it that I'm going to pour over to see how it goes. I will probably do it in one large pour to see how this resin does.

Hope TO takes a long nap!!

If you think I could do something else with the basing, let me know!! I love feedback, and have thick skin.

My wife and I are the same way, she can basically tell how long I was painting just by looking at my left hand. Which means if I've been doing any dry brushing my thumbnail is covered.

Cleanliness may be next to Godliness, but, if you are a creative person, it's next to impossible.

Absolutely. I'm not even posting a picture of my desk right now. I actually have to find it here soon.... It's buried under aquarium plants, static grass, tufts, glue, and rocks!

When I'm actually painting a mini, it has to be very clean for me to focus. However, I find the chaos helps me be less formulaic and pattern-oriented when I'm basing. I guess it depends on the mindset I'm in?
