smokingwreckage
Well I did hear some of the more extreme branches of protestantism were practicing "slaying in the Spirit". I found the idea profoundly appealing until I discovered that they were namby-pamby FAKERS and nobody was getting slain at all! Putting in an order for 25mm snipers on behalf of my wife. She wants to see snipers that are sleek, deadly, bad, and yet just a touch sexy as well. Can Reaper meet this brave challenge? BACK ON TOPIC! IT'S A MIRACLE! :p
lstormhammer
Well, there'sa problem painting a mini in realistic matte-black bodysuit, or even in a ghilli suit: On a miniature, it will look like a black blob, or if it has a ghilli suit: it looks like a piece of shrubbery. --I would like deck crews, as well. --lstormhammer
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted October 1, 2002 Moderator Share Posted October 1, 2002 I actually did this once. I used different companies' Black paint to paint Kiri the Ninja a few months back. I used GW's black for whatever needed to be leather, Reaper's black for whatever needed to be cloth, and I forget what else I used.
Chrome
if it has a ghilli suit: it looks like a piece of shrubbery Wow! I never thought about that before! You've quite possible saved me hours and hours of painting! I can just take all of my guys (once the game is out), dip them in some watered-down Elmer's and then dump some flock on them. Instant Ghillie suit!
Moderator Froggy the Great Posted October 1, 2002 Moderator Share Posted October 1, 2002 Either that, or you could get some tree or shrubbery minis and just model boots, a helmet, and several protruding weapons. There you go, instant ghillie suit. "How not to be seen". Heh.
