Starship III - Fully 3D Printable 28mm Spaceships

Recommended Posts

Can't believe I missed this one until now.  I didn't have a printer during their previous projects, but I'm definitely in on this one.  Less than 48 hours to go.  Link added.

Seek adventure amongst the stars! Explore strange new worlds, smuggle illicit cargos across the hyperspace lanes or launch a space to ground assault, in your Scout Ship, Transport, or Space Shuttle!

Somewhere in the outer reaches... Somewhere in the outer reaches...

Starship III introduces three original, fully 3D-printable spaceships scaled for 28mm play in your favourite Tabletop RPGs or Wargames. Complete with OpenLOCK-compatible modular interiors, the ships are detailed inside and out and a variety of configurations can be used to customise the deck plans.

Each ship comes detailed inside and out (Scout ship standard interior shown here) Each ship comes detailed inside and out (Scout ship standard interior shown here)

As the campaign unfolds, new starship hull variants and modules will be unlocked as stretch goals to bring even more variety to your game and increase the pledge value for everyone.

Deliverable files will be made available digitally in STL zip packs via DriveThruRPG.com (see Printing Requirements details below for print bed size requirements)

This company has been great! Excellent communication, deliveries coming through, I will definitely be a future customer. Hope to get my new printer running this week so I can start on my first ship, t

Seen this one the day I left for LVO last week. I was gonna get in on it then but totally spaced it off. Love the design of the starship even if one of them have a certain "bird of prey from a warring galaxy far far away " feel to them. While my Starfinder Society game at the FLGS is on hold due to the lack of people, this is something I may have to look into for the PC's starship & such.

Nope, not at all.  It's how a few people here have started - see something neat, acquire it... Then get the printer later.

Exactly!  I'm guilty of that myself.  And these really do look nice.  I'm in for the lot.

With the freighter option & other options in this KS, you could almost replicate it. I knew the name Starship II & the layout of the renders (the line green screens) looked familiar. I bought/downloaded a couple of sets from them off Drivethru a few weeks back. I picked up the pop up security gun tile & a generic door & arch. Great files to work with. Still on the fence with this one & with time running out, I'm not sure if I'll back or not. If my Starfinder Society game was a go every week, it'd be a no brainer but currently, it'd just be a .stl file on my computer.

Well, I jumped in for the 3 ship pack. Hope that their history of good delivery holds up. It is nice to see that they already have printed versions to see.

Actually , according to Wookiepedia, this beauty would be closer to the YT1000 class than the 1300.

Speaking of Wookies, I'm gonna have to do a Chewie mini for the asymmetrical  transport.

This is where I am. I'm in for All Ships, but now need to budget and plan for a 3d printer. Good thing the wife wants a 3d printer too. She is actually an artist that was worked in 3d before (physical sculpts as well as digital for CNC routers) so she was an easy sell on the plan.

I'm happy to see they've launched a 2nd KS, as I missed out on the first one.
Here's the blurb from the Kickstarter, which is live and already funded here: https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/292543184/wallhalla-2/description

Hey, everyone! We're Ill Gotten Games, and we're back for another round of Wallhalla, the modular, 3d printable miniature display shelves!
We're kicking this new series off with a Dangerous Dungeon theme that comes in two available styles:

Classic: (left) the original format found in Series 1, optimized for miniature display. Classic shelf units also include versions with recesses for standard round bases (20mm, 25mm, 32mm, 40mm, 50mm, 60mm, and 70mm).
Wall Sprawl: a new, terrain-style take that lets you build vertical dungeons and play on your wall space! (It works great as a display as well, especially if you want even more of a diorama look.)
Both of these sets are 100% compatible with one another and with any of the sets from Series 1. This campaign is for digital STL files, not finished, physical products, and you'll need access to a 3d printer to make them. All of our Wallhalla designs:
print 100% support free and are optimized for FDM machines!
assemble with durable, built-in slide-fit connectors, and don't require glue!
can be configured (and reconfigured) into whatever build suits your fancy!
      are easy to paint!

A new Kickstarter that may otherwise go under your radar.

      Very entertaining 70’s/80’s nostalgia aesthetics.

I barely received my last campaign pledge from Midlam that already it has something that caught my interest.

Sisters of the Kraken Cult. The female counterparts of the previous "Onslaught of the Cult of the Kraken Lord" and "Cultists of the Kraken Lord". (I now have some regret of not getting it)

What's also interesting is the optional add-on of fish folk.

Brinewind is going to have some interesting neighbors.

Ending soon. Card decks, each with a side quest. Pretty straightforward.

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.
