We will be using BackerKit as our pledge manager and that's where you'll have the opportunity to make those specific choices. If you have any questions, feel free to ask in the comments or by messaging me here on Kickstarter.
THE ART OF…
For more than 30 years I have spent a great deal of time talking with hundreds of artists who paint miniatures – for fun, for a living, for relaxation – and I am always intrigued to learn more about their philosophies, approaches, and processes. Some of these artists have spent decades refining their technical skills, while others bring their “traditional” art training to the miniatures world. Some draw inspiration from the most unusual of places, while others find it in popular culture turned on its head.
THE ART OF… series of books will highlight fantastic miniatures artists from around the world, bringing their thoughts and passions to stand alongside their magnificent and inspirational work. We’ll be featuring both individuals and groups in this series, as we explore innovative approaches, studied refinements, and even tangential influences.
These books will be both a celebration of the artist and their art, as well as an opportunity for them to present their thoughts on particular topics and let the world know why they approach their art the way they do. These will not be “How To” books, but rather complements to their existing outlets work that the artists are already doing.
This is just the beginning of THE ART OF… series. With so many wonderful miniatures artists, there is so much potential to explore.

Volume 2 – THE ART OF... Christof Keil
Christof Keil (aka k03rnl) is an artist from Germany who has made a name for himself with his incredible kitbashes and conversions and his work to turn 2D artwork into 3D pieces. Christof’s day job as a blacksmith working on enormous metal sculptures has given him a precise eye for balance and motion. This book will be a high-quality, softback artbook of 96 pages.
• Kitbashing – a focus on anatomy, balance, silhouette
• The Black Phalanx – a kitbashed project
• Sculpting – creating reliefs and busts
• Painting Black – an exercise in mimicking the masters
• Black Templars – recreating the John Blanche art of 3rd Edition
Volume 3 – THE ART OF... Ana Polanšćak
Ana is a professional miniatures painter from Croatia who is widely regarded for her world-building miniatures art. Her converted and sculpted miniatures blend seamlessly with her terrain work to create dark corners of worlds that beg to be explored – at your peril. This book will be a high-quality, softback artbook of 96 pages.
• World Building – a focus on selecting a starting point and key developments. Working on your own worlds and collaborating with others
• Gardens of Hecate – a world created by Ana

When Stonehaven started doing their kickstarters, they usually released their version of a troll or two with each one. Since I liked the variety of elves, dwarves, and other smallfolk in the kickstarters i tended to get the completionist so i found myself with a bunch of these, even though resin is not my favorite medium to work with. I did a few and the rest sat... until i needed giants for my Runelord campaign. I needed hill giants and i dont like hill giants as depicted by the typical miniatures for them, but the trolls were cute and they fit the size i was looking for and the legend that hill giants have tails was born.
Anyway, here are the latest 2, it brings my total now to 5 hill giant/trolls and one broccoli Ent. the party has faced 3 of them previously and it was a mixed success: they won, but they went looking for a place to heal and rest immediately afterwards! (come to think of it, Stonehaven makes up a rather large part of the party, the Kobold ninja, the grippli paladin, the half-orc barbarian and the dwarven cleric are also Stonehaven sculpts)
anyway for your viewing pleasure:

In my first set of finished miniatures in 2021, a selection of heroes from Stonehaven Adventurers 2020 Kickstarter. They were primed at the end of 2020 after a end of year arrival, but painted over the last month or so.
The whole of my finished ones:
My favorite of the set. They showed her as concept art on Instagram about 3 projects ago, I'm glad to see her in physical form finally.
I got a very Nott the Brave vibe from this one:
A Kobold with some fancy gear:
Some live some day in the way of the froggy guys:
A Dragonborn Wizard:
Some live some die in the way of this Hobgoblin Guy...wait I used that one already? Darn.

Another fun one from Stonehaven, with some of my favorite rarities: female Goblins and Orcs!
“Every individual matters. Every individual has a role to play.” – Jane Goodall
There are doors a hulking orc warrior can bash open in a single blow that would take a party of kobolds a month to chisel through and there are priceless artifacts that a goblin catburglar can swipe without a sound that an army of dwarves would have a great deal of trouble acquiring. Our differences make us strong.
With the Stonehaven Adventurers 2020 project, we are creating a variety of adventuring parties. Some will include variations of a single fantasy race, others will be a mix of different fantasy races. The parties will not all include the same number of miniatures becuase of the difference in the cost of production due to size, and not all of the parties will be included in the Core Set. Some are only available as add-ons.
The miniatures will be made in the USA. They will be cast in 100% lead free pewter (or polyurethane resin in the case of the dragon) and some assembly will be required. They will be sculpted on the standard 28 mm scale. Slotted round bases will be included with miniatures that are pictured on round bases.
And now we present the Core Set:

Lord Rhatagon's players travel from town to town, performing for the peasants and generally distracting from the privations of peasant life. Each has their own past that they are running from, but none moreso than Rhatagon himself, who travels with his minstrels seeking to rebuild the honor of his house. (Want another one? Add-on cost: $25)
Pictured from left to right, top to bottom: Male Goblin Necromancer, Male Goblin Monk, Female Goblin Witch, Male Goblin Warrior (Locked), Female Goblin Rogue, Female Goblin Ranger (Locked)
Goblins seldom get the chance to determine their own destinies. They are the pawns of greater powers and are seen as vermin by the "civilized" races. But just as men can surely be evil, goblins can surely be good. (Want another one? Add-on cost: $25)
Pictured from left to right, top to bottom: Male Tengu Rogue, Male Dwarven Cleric, Male Halfling Trickster, Male Dwarven Guard, Male Tiefling Geomancer
The Doublecreek Watch has had its hands full lately with escaped convicts, charlatans, and would-be heroes running around stirring up trouble! It's going to be one zany adventure, culminating in the wacky awakening of ancient horrors! (Want another one? Add-on cost: $25)
In addition to the Core Set, we've got some other stuff that is only available as add-ons. This is that stuff!
Pictured from top to bottom, left to right: Male Orc Fighter, Female Orc Cleric, Female Orc Archer, Male Orc Wizard, Male Orc Warrior
The massive mountain Orcs have formed an uneasy alliance with the mountain queen. Orc warriors, once feared and killed on sight, are now commonplace among the caravan guards and mercenary companies that come down from the northern steppes. (Add-on cost: $37)
The Mushroom Folk have lived under the dark trees for as long as time has been counted. Mercurial creatures, they can change their form to best suit the needs of the coming day. Although many will prefer to maintain a single form, others will change form each night: from simple form to warrior form, or from spore form to mage form. Each form has its strengths and drawbacks.
The Mushroom Folk have interchangeable parts and can be assembled into thousands of different combinations.
Add-on: Mushroom Folk Subset A (Add-on cost: $25)
Add-on: Mushroom Folk Subset B (Add-on cost: $25)
Add-on: Mushroom Folk Subset C (Add-on cost: $25)
Add-on: Mushroom Folk Subset D (Add-on cost: $25)
Mushroom folk unlocked by stretch goals will be added to the Mushroom Folk Set.
The Reclining Dragon rests comfortably on your tabletop, awaiting delicious adventurers to walk into its jaws. Or you could barter with it, or whatever, he's pretty chill that way!
This dragon is big! It measures 105mm across and will be cast in polyurethane resin. The wings come unattached. (Add-on cost: $25)
As we hit these stretch goals, more miniatures will be added to the Core Set, Mushroom Set, and/or made available as add-ons!
When we reach $12,000, Cyragnome the gnomish swashbuckler will be added to the Core Set. He will also be available as a $4 add-on. Cyragnome is a fearless fighter with a flair for the dramatic. Many a bandit has had his knees bloodied by Cyragnome's flashing blade!
When we reach $14,500 the Male Goblin Warrior will be unlocked and added to the Otker and the Mob adventuring party in the Core Set. He will also be available as a $4 add-on. Goblin warriors are fearless in battle. Often facing much larger foes, they often triumph through a combination of lucky crits and really bad attack rolls from lvl 1 adventurers!
When we reach $17,000 the Female Goblin Ranger will be unlocked and added to the Otker and the Mob adventuring party in the Core Set. She will also be available as a $4 add-on. Ricochet the goblin ranger got her nickname by bouncing a bolt off a guard's shield and into another guard's exposed back.
Once these goals are reached, we will introduce new ones!
Wow! You scrolled so far! Thanks for taking the time you check out our project; you are the best!
"Crosslances is an artistic reality consolidated for many years, we have dedicated ourselves very often to model making and playing miniatures in 28/32mm scale.
This time, however, we want to launch a completely different project, an absolute novelty, our original idea.
In fact, we want to make available to you these fantastic sculptures of ours, which can be printed directly at home, painted and placed inside your bookshelves to obtain stunning effects!"
