This pretty lady jumped straight to the front of my painting queue, and it was about time I painted another Reaper mini:-

Here she is, all cleaned up and undercoated in primer.

Got a little further today:-

Not going down the red skin route, so Ziba is currently covered in a basecoat of 1:2 Dwarf Skin/Rosy Skin with a Flesh Wash.

Aiming to get her skin finished tonight.

And once more, I love her skin! Keep it up (Try some more blending on her skirt!)

I will try, I've been practising on another mini.

Haven't been able to paint much lately, but I did work on her face:-

Her skin was finished with highlights of 1:2 Dwarf Skin/Rosy Skin, 1:2:1 Dwarf Skin/Rosy Skin/Light Skin and 1:2:3 Dwarf Skin/Rosy Skin/Light Skin, she got lips (1:2:3:3 Dwarf Skin/Rosy Skin/Light Skin/Bloody Red with some Flesh Wash), fangs (Iraqi Sand) and eyes (despite my best efforts, they ended up very cat-like).

Gotta get the rest of her skin done now.

What undercoat primer did you use? It really helps to pop those highlights & shaded areas.

It's just Vallejo White Primer with an Agrax Earthshade Wash.

Still don't feel like working on her skin, so she got hair instead.

Kept it simple, so it's a basecoat of 1:2 Red Leather/Ochre Yellow, highlighted with pure Ochre Yellow and then given a Sepia Wash all over, with a Brown Wash in the deepest recesses and underneath parts.

Not sure what part I'll work on next.

Thanks guys!

Finally made a bit of progress:-

She got horns (Night Blue > 1:1 Night Blue/Ghost Grey > Black Wash) and a shoulder-pad (Scarlett Red > Black Wash > 1:1 Scarlett Red/Orange Fire > 1:1:1 Scarlett Red/Orange Fire/Pale Yellow > 1:1:2 Scarlett Red/Orange Fire/Pale Yellow with a Sky Blue eye and Iraqi Sand teeth), I think I may need to knock back those shoulder-pad highlights a bit.

And since I hade some left over, I basecoated her dress in Hexed Lichen.

And more progress:-

Finished off her skin on her right shoulder, boobs, left arm and hand.

Basecoated some of her decorations and armour trims in Bronze with a Brown Wash, did some scales in Magic Blue with a Black Wash and one sword blade in Oily Steel with a Black Wash.

Next will be finishing off those areas and moving on to the next.

No, I do not understand why I'm painting random areas.

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person).
I've been wanting to do a group/series of hellborn/tiefling figures for fun but seems whenever I went to order something they would slip my mind and I get something else. Ah but reaper cursed me and gave me a free hellborn figure and now I can tell I'm gonna be ruined.

Painting at least one wizard a month is a requirement is it not? When I saw this fig I just luved the Arabian vibe I got off it.

"You bunch of young ums better beware the White Wolf prowling these hills and country side while out seeking lust and gold," sternly told the Barmaid to the adventurers seeking gossip which she did indeed loved to tell, but this group just rubbed her the wrong way, "the She-devil of the woods will eat you alive!"
"Ahhh, quite messy with them Babs," said one of her regular patrons, "You'll have them pissing in thier pants telling your 'Witcher' stories.
as you can tell from above I wanted her to have a Ciri/witcher vibe.....

Posting this month, October's projects finished so far (and no sorry I'm not an Orc-tober person). Normally when I prep mini's I do about six or so of them at a time, this month I found myself preping a baker's dozen...ouch. O well got plenty for next month too...hehe, anyways when sorting for something to paint she caught my eye, I still can't believe how really dainty she is.
