My Kids D&D game is going to do a One-Shot as all doggies 

Pomeranian Monk,  Mastiff Bard(?), Corgi Warlock, and TBD 

since we are playing on May 4th - it will be starwars themed -  and framed as a legend of Awakened Animal Heroes. 

 

In the Main Campaign they also just hired a steward, who brought a dauchshund with him as a pet.  half the PCs immediately bought their own dogs.   

One of the two dachshunds is obviously going to turn out to be an awakened animal NPC.  

 

But how many Good Dad points can you earn with them? Or, they could be used as kid-bribes. "An A on your quiz and I'll give you a painted cat!"  Takes up less space than the potted cacti that my parents bribed me with.

no thanks  i dont' like having to use magnifying glasses just to paint. I'd rather just paint bigger things and bypass the small ones

There are two or three i like out of the main bunch, but Tim is glorious! I may have to get it just for him.

 

Do we know if this is going to be the same price as the dogs?

we don't have any info yet. The same price seems likely

They are doing a really short turn around between projects and the creators haven't made any unhappy noises about unexpected costs.  

so that to me says they ade a reasonable profit on the first one.

Well, I got in for this one. Showed my wife a picture of them last week and she claimed them before I'd even decided to pledge. Apparently I will be painting them as the nemeses to her Kingdom of Mousdom (her desk at work where many of my cute figures disappear to, never to return).
