Welcome to the forums, and to mini painting! You're off to a great start for sure. Took me ages to start adding stuff to my bases, and you already got some! A nice place to start improving where you are is in adding some highlights to the higher parts of the figure. Much like adding shadows, it will help add definition to each section ::): You can highlight by adding layers of slightly paler paint from your base coat, in smaller areas (so some base still shows), or slower but as a more controlled gradient with glazes (like layers, but with really watery paint applied specifically, as opposed to sloppy like a wash). Some folks do other methods like wet blending, but I wouldn't start there.

Great minotaur. Keep painting and showing us pictures! ::D:

Thank you. I am trying to work on highlights and it is proving to be an area that will take a bit of time to get right.

It is something we all work on. Even when you are "good", you'll always have to think about it. However, it does get easier with time :poke:

Welcome! Nice minotaur. Main comment is it would be easier to see him against a more neutral background -

Not sure why I didn't really think of that.

The neutral background is better!

More focus on the mini.

The base is great too!

Thank you. The base was fun. First time using flocking.
