Oh I got it. 12 year olds, ...puberty.  <_<

This next did happen on occasion:

The wolves I was raised with thought ^ this was funny also, and the teachers would sympathetically[?] advise: catch the ball next time, take a break, suck it up, walk it off...

My Dodgeball days were amongst an average of eight year olds. The school in question only went up to grade 5, so a maximum of 11 year olds. And, normally they didn’t mix the years too much at recess.

At least not severe ones. Dodgeball was reasonably safe below a certain arm strength/throwing speed.

Interesting. I think I played it once.

I doubt that I was any good at all.

That’s the thing. Games involving moving objects have an Age Range. Once the kids  involved get too strong-fast-powerful it is time to move on to other games.

Edit: Did they adjust the size of the squares or do any other mods to account for older, stronger players?

Sensible. Of the staff. (See above: “too strong-fast-powerful”)

Considering that it was started by the kids in my class, and had no real supervision...I doubt the squares were different sizes. I played a couple of times and they used different strengths depending on who was playing. For example, they tended to go easy on me.

We played during our lunch period at our magnet school - meaning we were on university grounds with little to no adult supervision. To be fair, they probably figured they didn't need to supervise Junior and Senior year Advanced Honors students.

Question for April 21, 2019

Doctor Who is my (irl) namesake so I'm expected to have opinions on this. Favorite old doctor was Tom Baker, favorite companion was, obviously, Tegan.

New who: I'm a huge Peter Capaldi fan. And Bill is turning out to be a favorite companion, probably not the most favorite but she's up there.

College football, though I watch the occasional NFL game.  No interest in soccer.

Doctor John H. Watson and Sherlock Holmes!

But if we're sticking to Doctor Who, then I don't have a good answer as I like everyone and with the addition of the Big Finish audio plays, there are scores of more stories with all of the doctors and plenty of new companions.

Matt Smith and Karen Gillan  possibly Alex Kingston (River Song) - but ill watch David Tennant with anyone too.

waiting for the current season to be released on Amazon Prime.

Balls -

college basketball, only during March and April.

other than that I could care less.  If my town's team is playing in some kind of championship, I might pay attention.

No, though I know a number of people that do.  Our HR secretary was out for several months last year after she fell off of a horse and tore most of the tendons in her forearm.  Two surgeries later she's back to work.

Not really anymore. I'm a rancher and for most of my life horses were a big part of it. My dad and I trained a bunch and used them weekly. I still own 1 old horse and 1 pony for the kids but we almost never ride them. Only chase cows with trucks now. Really miss having good horses and just riding but don't seem to have time any more to train them properly. Modern life. ::(:

Not for a long time. When I was young we used to have horses because my sister rode them, but once she moved the horses were sold off. Still kinda miss them.

I used to. Trail riding. I used to be quite adept at it.

I haven't in... far too many years. Haven't had the opportunity.
