Starting in on Bones 4 already! (It's impolite to ask how I'm doing on Bones 3.) And I had to start with Izzy, because Izzy.

Just roughing in some colours, and sadly had only a couple minutes to paint tonight and part of that went to cleaning up some of the disaster from the last time the kids painted.

Suggestions on colours for the rest of her would be greatly appreciated!

I thought at first she was a Kingdom of Death Babe. She is LOVELY. Have FUN with her!

Outside of studio models... maybe? I think I win for first person to post about putting paint on a Bones 4 figure, anyway! ::D:

I am definitely jealous that you are getting to paint the Bones 4 stuff already!

Nice choice in the first mini chosen! I look forward to seeing where you go with this one.

Getting close to the limits of my skills, but I'm having fun in the meantime. She's a super fun figure to paint. ^_^

Splendid eyes and bright colors!

Between the red hair and the bard theme, she could be Christina Hendrix!

Calling her more or less done... There's a lot more I COULD do but I think if I push it I'll stop having fun, so I'm going to quit while I'm ahead and come back to her at some point to give her a real base.

She is LOVELY; I love her hair color & her face is BEAUTIFULLY expressive. When a miniature stops being fun to do, it is done; AND Isobel is VERY WELL DONE!

I recently painted this fertility idol from Bones 4. Just for fun.

Technically they are stone statue boobies, but boobies are boobies.

Here is 'her' back though. :)

PS: Couldn't find her in the store atm, maybe not released yet?

I'm just about finished with my final piece for ReaperCon, and I needed a break. I needed to paint something fun and with no consequence. I've been eyeing this sculpt from across the room, and I just decided to go for it. Nothing super crazy, just some true metallics, which I haven't done much with in some time. Enjoy!

This is the Bone 4 version of Enora, Iconic Arcanist (60178) . A common issue with Bones figures is being "soft" on detail compared to their metal counter parts but I was impressed with this casting. I found it to be very well defined, even the fine chains and other small details.

I really tried to focus on lighting and contrast. I imagined the light to be coming from the left front of the figure. I took a few photos of the base coated miniature with that lighting and used them as a guide. This really helped focus where my lights and darks should be.

This I a quick tabletop paint job (about 2 hours) I did for a fellow player.  She plays a cleric with a holy glowing sword and has a number of light spells, so I went with a gold and yellow scheme.  Base coated the figure with red liner, which has a nice red-brown color to it, and did a quickie drybrush over that for the armor.  I am really pleased by how her face came out.  The character believes there is no redemption for evil, and so I've nicknamed her Sister Mary Kill-Them-All.

Another themed set, Knights from Bones 4.

Mrs. Forscale is one of my favorites from the Core set.
