Kickstarter is now Live and I’ve updated the thread title to the name of the kickstarter.

Heres the link:

https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1313980061/pulp-figures-dangerous-dames-28mm-miniatures?ref=9p7oe7&token=186495ca

I don’t know what the actual name of the kickstarter will be, but I was at a local wargaming convention earlier today that longtime miniature sculpter Bob Murch attended and had his sales booth set up at.

I happened to overhear him mention to another customer that he was planning a “quick and dirty” kickstarter for next month (May) for 5 or 6 sets of female characters for across his Pulp Figures ranges.

Figured I better post a thread here in case there are any other Murch fans.

Plus it serves as a reminder to keep an eye and ear out for the project.

Well, guess we'll have to wait and see then. The sketches on FB are Mexicane ladies and some prohibition era style gun molls, so I figured that might wind up being 2 of the sets. just guesswork at this stage though.

Ooh, I need gun molls!

I wasn't familiar with Bob's work, so I googled "Bob Murch miniatures" and found his pulp figures website.  I'm not sure if "cartoony" would have been the word I used, but he definitely has a style.

Edit:  Okay.  This guy is a bit cartoony.

IIRC that fellow is a German officer for that Viet Cthulhu (errm, Weir War Nam, officially) game, and pretty near the top of the cartoonishness scale.

I'd expect the new ladies to turn out more along the lines his existing pulp heroines:

Oh, also, still somewhat rough-looking draft/preview for the campaign is up::

Urgh. I really love these sculpts, but...

From the preview of the campaign, he's only doing one tier for all 30 miniatures. No opportunity to get just one set (much less one mini).

At about $100 USD, I don't need enough of these to justify it... Especially with Bones V coming. Poor timing...I could see myself getting in for twenty bucks, but not a hundred.
