$6.69 for a single mini for shipping??

I was for sure going to get 1 mini, a possibility of 2 or more but if that's gonna be the cost for a single mini to ship, forget it!

I'll just wait till they go retail at places I normally shop online & pay their much lower costs.

I am guessing that is per figure for the pledge price plus shipping for a full pledge (so if there were 10 figures, a pledge plus shipping would be $66.90). At least that is the info they had on their last KS as i recall (and then decreased it as stretch goals were added).

I saw tonight the Kickstarter page for Tomb Guardians's Amazon campaign has gotten rid of most of their shipping costs.  If you buy 1 or 2 figures, you will pay like $6.  I've bought from the company before and generally up to 5 or 6 figures will cost only $6-7 to ship (for the whole thing not per figure).  But the full set on the Kickstarter only costs $5 now to ship and everything after that has free shipping.  I haven't seen any Kickstarters that have given free shipping to customers outside of just doing it as a stretch goal. Outside of Amazon (the online retailer), I don't really see it often with any retailer.  I think this is pretty reasonable and better than anything else I've seen.  I don't know if it matters to anyone on this forum, but I also saw that they have really low, flat rates for outside of the USA too.  I have a friend who lives in Switzerland who looked at the KS too and he said the company is definitely paying the VAT tax for the figures they are shipping to his country. He always pays like 4-5 times the cost to have things shipped to him compared to what he will pay for his figures with this KS.  I'm going to be in for the dwarves and amazons for sure.  I'm hoping I can afford the painted set by the time I pledge.

Also, I just want to say, as a female, not only am I super excited about an all female faction.  It is especially exciting to see the minis are all DIFFERENT body types and are not set up to be totally naked and objectified like most of the female minis that are out there.  On the rare occasion that I do see gaming stuff that have females in it, it's either most of the time skinny women who are basically naked with big boobs, or all enormous women who are made to be evil or slobs.  These are all different sizes, and just as importantly they are all strong and can do stuff.  I don't know if this guy's girlfriend gave him the low down on what women who like this stuff would like to see, but he nailed it.  These are my favorite so far.image.png.87a5efc5cf106e2a5652d58a345929a4.pngimage.png.a839bb6c11506fdce66912856c15e44a.pngimage.png.0858291ba7ab3b79a0ad7d9f9f389741.png

All three of the sculptors for this project, Jason Wiebe, Gene Van Horne, Patrick Keith, are long time Reaper sculptors. If you search Reapers online store under each of their names, you’ll be able to see their work available through Reaper.

Thanks.  I know they do work for both companies.  I like the Reaper stuff (obviously) but I also like the Tomb Guardians stuff.  I've bought the Reaper stuff for a long time, but I like having the figures in pewter and TG just has more of that for the figures that I like.  Especially this line.

If you want your females dressed more sensibly, you should probably check out Oathsworn's Heroines in Sensible Shoes series...

Or Bad Squiddo Games.

(You may be able to 'Follow along' on their Amazons & Dwarves KS. )

The price in parenthesis is the price per mini if all stretch goals are met for that pledge level. Shipping is handled in the pledge manager, but it was very reasonable within the US. And I think it was a flat rate after so many minis, I'd have to go and check my pledge manager later.

If you use twitch at all, Cass is doing Q&As all week, tonight he's on Lyn's channel metalhead mini's.

Edited to correct myself. I hadn't read the campaign description until now. On previous mini KS the number in () referred to cost per mini before shipping.

Just talked with the creator on Twitch. The single mini shipping price is $6.69 for 1-5 or 6 minis (depending on weight) for the US, RoW is $8.93. The next pledge level is a flat $5/$15 US/RoW and every level above that is free shipping US, RoW Amazon/Dwarf alliance $5 shipping RoW and above that free shipping RoW. Cass is fixing the verbiage and removing the confusing parentheses to be clearer.

Archon Studio (LOAD, Vanguard of War, Chronicle X) are branching into modular terrain. The project is now Live:

Apparently it is "full plastic injection" so not the same as their minis. The concept seems interesting, but the preview page is far from finished, so it's hard to get a good grasp on prices (one "Starter Pledge" for $49 is all they currently have listed, along with a $20 add on). The whole magnetized modular wall system looks like it could have potential.

      About
Digital render of the finished sculpts. In the last six or so years I have played a lot of tabletop games, ranging from Warhammer and Dungeons & Dragons to smaller games like Frostgrave and Relicblade. I have fallen in love with the hobby of painting miniatures and everything surrounding it. A year ago I made plans to give something back and to add something to this hobby community I love so dearly.
My background in digital game art helped me a lot since I was already familiar with the software to sculpt digitally. So I started working on a few miniatures I would like to produce. Most of them were abandoned in favor of better ideas, but eventually I created this set of three goblins. These goblins are each embodiments of the archetypes found in many of the games I love: the wizard, the fighter and the thief/ranger.
I spent the last year figuring out how to cast resin to the standards I saw in the products I enjoy and how to make sure digitally sculpted details translated well to the tabletop scale.
These three figures are the end result of that progress, but hopefully the start of a lot more.
I made this Kickstarter to cover the costs of the materials used and shipping, but mostly so I can bring these little goblins to your tabletop :)
All miniatures will be multiple parts cast in resin and supplied unpainted, with a 25mm gaming base.
      The final resin casts.

They drag their feet one in front the other, deliberately, slowly. They  crawl out of their resting grounds. Out of the tombs to the fresh air,  slowly, unrestained.
Scylla Models is back presenting you a new range of Villains and Undead monsters for your collection. The models we present you are master casts  white metal (primed white for better result in the pictures), with the only exception of Zuula. She on her Night Terror is our first large monster and we decided to go resin. The results are quite impressive as you might see in the picture.
