Finished a ton of stuff in April and still trying to decide what will be my next larger project. Still on the table from last month;

8 Frostgrave girls. These are all very close to finished.

Isobael bard and her dog.

A handful of people From Dreadmere. Some already with a colour or two on them.

Tinker with my home made hotwire foam cutter to make it more accurate.

I have a small list of terrain and odds and ends that would have been helpful in the games we just played. Kind of low priority as we already played the games but they'd be useful for other games in the future.

I will be playing catch up as March and April went bad for me. I have no idea what I will try to catch up on for sure, but this looks like what it SHOULD be:

Finish my CAVs

Do my swap mini

Set up Ender 3

Learn to use Ender 3

The outlook for May painting is looking rather grim, since my parents told me they are coming to visit from across the pond (the Atlantic).  Need to spend a bunch of time cleaning up the place so it is presentable, plus I am trying to get rid of stuff I never use to reduce the clutter.

May Goals:

Clean up some of the unfinished miniatures on my bench-

  - Three more urban fantasy figures

  - A dozen ancient Minifig Mythical Earth goblins

  - 4 1/72 Viking spearmen to finish two 8 man stands completing my Cold Islander fantasy Viking portable army

  - Some Oathsworn Burrows and Badgers figures needed for games at Gencon (have 6 primed, I think)

And...

Something historical, most likely 40mm French Revolution figures from home casting molds

keeping with my 2019 goals, in April I plan to:

  1. Paint another figure for the current D&D campaign
  2. Paint a Steampunk figure
  3. Paint another ogre
  4. Start a miniature for this year's Reapercon
  5. Paint this month's Mithril miniature

If there is time I also plan to start an entry for this year's Reapercon. But I don't know when my Bones 4 figures will arrive.

My long term goals for 2019:

Paint all the figures in the annual box (7)

Continue my current Rangers of Shadow Deep campaign and perhaps work on two mini campaigns

Paint three entries for miniature painting competitions this year. It has increased to five. (2 down)

Run a Call of Cthulhu game for my roleplaying group

Paint character minis for all the players in my D&D group. (on track with five)

Paint a Mithril miniature each month (on track with four)

May Goals:

2 Dungeons and Doggies needed for May 4th one-shot (1 done)

5 Noggin the Nog  metal minis  (2 done)

3+ from bones3 Core

Ash the undead dragon (bones4)

I got a fast jump on this, as the 2 Nogs were nearly done, and I painted a chihuahua adventurer from start to finish yesterday.

I'm planning a set of impressionist inspired lizardmen, but it will likely wait till next month.

also I'm going to run out of lizardmen! I only have 4 left.

2) Finish painting my Hirst Arts Ruined Wizard Tower

3) Paint Zombicide Ann

4) Paint up GW Skulker

and if I managed to finish this...

1) Paint up 4 treasure tokens

This month's goal are pretty much....

- do something hobby related.

- paint something

- finish a few somethings, AND take photos of such. And post the show off thread.

Lately it's been tough to pick up the brushes, partially due to a bunch of things being taken care of, but mostly due to exhaustion, and head stuff.
