Kraken: Released! Ran out Saturday afternoon and I gave out my last Trip Hazzards Sunday during my game.  Looks like I need to double my order for next year.

I got the last Kraken: Released! I'm happy to be here on the forums (finally!). It's odd that I'm putting screennames to faces rather than the other way around, but I don't care. Still loving it.

I'm sure we met, but I don't have a face to put to your forum name.

We definitely did. I did the Bingo and several Hobby Hijinks as well. I turned my bingo card in on Sunday after deciding a Blackout was out of reach and I did a Speed Paint on Saturday afternoon with @Sylverthorne and @Kangaroorex sat down late to join us. It was the lich looking model. Everyone was super helpful trying to point out the forumites on my bingo card. I'm sure all the Hijinks blend together, though, so I'm not sure that really helps. I'm still learning the forum features too, so I'm at a loss on how to help more.

No, I think I could pick you out of a small crowd now.

At least for the next two weeks!

I got two Duskwarden Ribbons. Not sure how the 2nd turned up. And I might be the sole person to earn one of Thes’s Ribbons by being good, following Doctor orders and not noshing on a spherical chunk of calorific chocolate. (They looked sorta like Ferrari Rochfort candies but were something different.)

But that was it. 3 total. I didn’t even get the melt table ribbon even though I made one visit and rescued five minis.

I will be cranking up the production line for more handmade "Twinkle" ribbons for next year.

The production of these makes a good fill in while I'm waiting for paint to dry.

Nick Anything will have a pirate chest filled with hard candies.

I'm considering other ideas for ribbons.

Maybe a wordless ribbon. Not sure if anybody has done a wordless ribbon.

Pick one of these icons or something similar centered — no words.

If you look closely at each of the ribbons I handed out, the letter "E" had a small sparkly GEM in the area of the loop. :poke:

I do like the idea of a wordless ribbon.

And you haven't even shown any of the other cuts besides the evolution and variations on the Brilliant Cut.

I thought of a second wordless ribbon idea (that is I remembered one) but it isn’t a very happy, fun, or lighthearted idea and it’s unoriginal (Robert Louis Stevenson thought of it first) but it is solidly on theme.

I have to admit that the fact that every one of your ribbons was handcrafted made that one of my favorites. That and the Nibbler coin. Chocolate is the answer to pretty much any problem.

I fix it by having two wings on the side; one for smaller, one for larger, with other odd sizes on the badge around the top where they'll fit. I've had only limited success with re-sticking ribbons after pulling them off, so I generally leave the ones in the main train alone.

EDIT: What's the requirement for Trip Hazard, again? Is it knee-length?

Huzzah!

Granted that knee length is not an equally easily achievable goal for everyone, but with the increase in availability of the number of ribbons, I think that there needs to be a 2nd tier award for extra long ribbon strings. I hit Tripping on the first day without breaking a sweat and the ribbons kept coming...

I went with knee length as orriginally, it took some work to get there as a couple of years ago, there just weren't as many ribbons available for people to earn.  I think 100 Trip Hazard ribbons lasted me..2 or 3 years?  This year I went throgh 100 by Sunday Morning.  And as far as equal difficulty, well, us tall folk can reach things on the top shelf so I figure that equals out.

I have thought about another one for when the train hits the ground; FLOORED.  Not sure I want to be handing out 3 ribbons next year.
