Er.... not really soonish. We're still more than two months away. Expect the sign up thread about 8/1, and closing around the 15th. I've got my card generating technique down, but I still need time just to collect forum icons, get the cards printed, cut, etc. And buttons again if I manage that little extra from last time.

My idea for handing out ribbons require some effort and a secondary part that I'm questioning. Hmm...

So as a newbie I have two ideas,

 

idea one, “We all stared some where” show me a picture of your first mini

 

idea two, “I did a thing” show me a mini you started at the con

 

As a long time con goer but new to the ribbon gig are theses unrealistic?

I could see the second one being a little easier to get than the first one. I don't have a picture of my first mini on my phone, and wouldn't if I hadn't read this here. I'd hazard a guess that a lot of other people are the same way.

That said, they are both neat ideas.

Thanks that's why I was asking what if I made it show your earliest mini you have a picture of?

That would probably work out better.

Keep in mind that you might end up needing a LOT of ribbons, especially if you do both ideas.

Our ribbons came today!!!

 

Sadly, we ordered the wrong size... 3 by 1 5/8ths. So they are special. Lol 

 

Oh well, @Echoside_ and I still will take them and hand them out. 

 

I think we are just doing it as stop by and say hi to either of us to get a ribbon. 

 

I will update if he thinks of something more creative.

I ordered the wrong size the first time I ordered as well. After 3-4 years I have finally ran out of the improper size. Don't worry about it.
