I would think your list of titles would be a bit more reflective of your forum name:

His Royal Normalcy, the Average and Invincible-in-a-common-manner Concoror, etc.?

keeping with my 2019 goals, in June I plan to:

  1. Paint a Duskwarden for Duskwardens of Dreadmere
  2. Paint another Steampunk figure
  3. Start my entry for the painting contest in August
  4. Paint this month's Mithril miniature

And of course continue to work on my entry for the ReaperCon painting contest

My long term goals for 2019:

Paint all the figures in the annual box ( I am down to 6)

Continue my current Rangers of Shadow Deep campaign and perhaps work on two mini campaigns

Paint three entries for miniature painting competitions this year. It has increased to five. (2 down)

Run a Call of Cthulhu game for my roleplaying group

Paint character minis for all the players in my D&D group. (on track with five)

Paint a Mithril miniature each month (on track with six)

My goals for June:

Move all the things. In progress. I've run into the roadblock known as "other people's laziness". I'm worried about this one because "other people's laziness" has morphed into DELIBERATE RESCHEDULING! 4 TIMES NOW! I'm looking into professional movers at this point. They're expensive but at least they'll SHOW UP.

Acquire shelves and storage solutions. In progress. I've acquired some, am trying to get partner to agree to another bookshelf as well.  Done. Acquired 2 bookshelves, an end table, a giant dresser, some mini-organizers, a couch, 2 lamps, and plastic bins. Most of them were free, someone just left all this great stuff lying around :B):

Sort all the things. Can't even begin until part 1 is finished.

Part 1 MUST be done by the end of June.

I did accomplish most of my May goals, squeaking the last mini for grandson #1 in just under the wire, so I feel pretty good going into June.  There's still another pesky dragon giving me the stink eye from the table.  OK, ok, at least I did get it primed.  As my friend who owns our FLGS said to me once, "you're stagin it, right?"

Sooo....

  • Work on the next dragon in the queue.  It's an old Grenadier Dragon Lords Copper Dragon with the dwarf rider.
  • Continue my ongoing commission
  • Work some more with air dry clay, just trying to get more familiar with it.  I have some ideas for things, but can't seem to translate the vision in my head out through my hands.  :-(

So, the muse is with me this weekend.  (Clio, this time...)  I am going to return for a while to my historical roots, and push all the fantasy to one side of the desk while I work on figures for the French Revolution.

For the month, it would be fantastic if I could do:

12 British infantry (in progress)

6 British light dragoons (all pieces cast, green stuff for helmet plume conversions acquired)

12 French infantry

4 French gunners

and finish basing and varnishing the 2  figures from last month.

In service of this ambitious goal, I am resolved to spend more time hobbying, and to claw that time back out of my schedule by avoiding all computer games for the month, and trying to keep the online time down.  So I am probably not reading the high traffic threads in Off Topic Rampancy this month...

This month, a few come to mind...

- Start work on the A10 hubby bought me as a birthday gift

- additional work on minotaurs, gnolls, and foxes

- paint some CAVs!

- speed paint something (I've been enjoying speed painting either one mini, or a blister of similar minis every month)

- tidy up painting area.  It could use a bit of organizing...

so 10?  some already started seems doable - but there are vacations coming.  I'm not hauling paint on the road trip.
