Recommended Posts

The Hound is an OUTSTANDING conversion, WONDERFULLY detailed, AND BEAUTIFULLY painted. VERY WELL DONE!

Thanks everyone, I'm glad you like what I did.

Khan is Kiarah Amanodel's riding dog in my D&D campaign. Kiarah is my female elf druid character. She is only 90 pounds but together with Khan they are an efficient team. Kiarah raised Khan to hunt the orcs of the region after their quiet grove was raided by the Ragged Wound Tribe. Kiarah's lover was killed during the raid, so now the vengeful elf travels with her mysterious daughter to inflict harm on those who murdered Leonan.

It's in my plans to make another version of the model with the Kiarah riding Khan to battle.

I added more pictures of the WIP.

Wow indeed!  In addition to the amazing work on the conversion itself, the paint job is superb. Love the contrast between the black and tan natural colors on the dog and the bright red and gold on the barding.

This is what I would call a real "handy" dog haha. Fantastic!!! Awesome sculpting skills you show here and the painting is also quite good. Great work, thumbs up!!!

this is really impressive,  great inspiration for those thinking about conversions . Really like how you used normal things laying around the house, like the paperclip,  to create it . The sculpting is killer though

Several weeks ago I got to go to the hobby store and found a couple of new minis, one was this little jewel.

It is pretty much done in the painting department, but what good is a catapult without its crew?
These are some Oathmark dwarves that I’m converting to do the job.

I admit the barrel is too big to fit in the catapult, but I’m going to find a way to work it in.

I need to build a base big enough to hold everything and get some more dwarves, it is a start though.
      Ideas are welcome!
      Thanks for looking!

I built a dispensor robot out of a reaper soda machine, a brain in a jar, a pair of goggles, a battery pack, and a pair of rat cyborg arms.

It'll get used for this is not a test eventually.

Promised thing, thing due. Here are pictures of my Gnoll hunting party. All of them are Reaper Miniatures Gnolls, painted with Reaper Master Series Paints. I added the archer's bowstring and converted two models (see last picture).
I will now work on a display base for them. I've found an inspiring picture of a dusky sunset in the desert for the background.

Hi everyone, Here's the Big "Slim" Boss of my Gnoll hunting party. 02704, Lord of the Gnolls was sculpted by Ben Siens.
It's a tall metal model that stands 65mm / 2.5 inches at the top of its head. I painted it with Reaper's MSP acrylics.

Hi everyone, here are pictures of my latest Gnoll, a converted Toghra the Gnoll Leader. The upper part is from 77235, Toghra the Gnoll Leader sculpted by Jason Wiebe. The lower part of the mini is 77236, Bloodmane Gnoll Warrior sculpted by Tre Manor. The spear head is the blade of 02757, Gastaroth the Vampire sculpted by Werner Klocke and the staff is from 14056 Weapon Pack 1 sculpted by Tim Kaufman. Here's the link to the conversion WIP if you'd like more information.
