A nice thing I verified was that the Tshirts are being done by Silkworm. They are only 20 miles from here and do fantastic work. So I have gone from "meh" on the shirts to being excited!

Those t-shirts have reasonably decent looks to them as well!  I love the Coyote one, and hubby likes the Wolf, so such is good.  Never had a t-shirt from them, but many have commented they really like the company so there is that...

Just over a week left to go before pledge manager closes.

..And of course I had to change things at least one more time in my PM, snuck the Total War book in, and I'm trying to figure out how I'll sneak in the BattleMech Manual as well...  I honestly can't believe that my pledge is now over $900, and knowing what else I want, will reach closer to $1200 USD after second wind for the PM... (since I still want the Tuakkyid neoprene mats, a few more mech packs (at least two more Inner Sphere, and I'm debating on more clan ones).

I just wish they would get my $75 vredit in so i can finish up my Pledge.

My initial one only took 24 hours, but I got mine in during the first hour or two.  Apparently now from what I've heard in comments it's 2-3 days.

Snuck in the BattleMech manual as well...

And here I am with close to $400 usd thinking that's a lot of stuff. I probably shouldn't mention the several hundred bucks I spent on other Battletech things the last few months or the hundred or so still on the wish list. When I jump into a project (especially one I've been interested since a kid) I jump with both feet.

*jaw drops* oh my, those are some gorgeous coins.  When I get back to my desktop I'll add them in here.  I so have to figure out how to add in Diamond Shark to my pledge...

Now for me there's no interest in things like that. They are purty but I have no use for them. There's a good chance I'll be pawning mine off later to help pay for the new regiment(s) of mechs.

I've run the math again.  I'm currently at $1,026.46 USD (squeezed in a few more challenge coins so that hubby and I could each have three), and what I'd like to add in would be another $680 USD or so (two books, bulking things up so that I've pretty much two of every mech, another six pack of battle mats, etc).  We shall see if all of that happens or not.  I suspect whatever my bonus from work will be will wind up covering that, and Bones V purchases.  I think I've gone in so heavily because of a few different reasons, but one of them really is I did love BattleTech back in the day.  The other is simply that hubby has expressed a strong interest in it as well.

A small part of me can't believe some of the changes I've done, but on the flipside it also does make sense, given that I want to paint more than just three colour schemes...

Spoiler

Clan Coyote: Trinary painted with Delta's colours (goal is to upgrade this to a full Cluster during wave 2)

Clan Wolf: Trinary painted in a hybrid of wolf in exile Golden Keshik + Omega Galaxy (goal is to upgrade this to a full Cluster during wave 2)

From salvage packs:

Clan Ghost Bear: Star, possibly painted as Alpha Galaxy

Clan Ice Hellion: Star, possibly painted as Beta Galaxy

Clan Mongoose: Star, pretty much can guarantee it'll be painted as Shadow Galaxy, because that's a gorgeous blue and I'm addicted to orange.

Clan Smoke Jaguar: Star, painted as Alpha Galaxy

Inner Sphere:

Kell Hounds: One of everything (I think it will be something like 49 mechs?)

Comstar: One of everything (I think this will be around 49 mechs?)

Metal:
Clan Hell's Horses: currently a star, but will be five stars of mechs, as well as hopefully a trinary of elementals, plus a star of armour by end of the year.  Painted as Alpha Keshik

Crescent Hawk: currently 13 mechs and 4 tanks.  Goal is to bump this up to at least 45-48 mechs, and 12-16 tanks

They probably don't have too too much use for us, but we like the looks, and have been wanting to add in decorations (for lack of a better word) for our desk, and other little fun things, so it's "easier" for us to justify.  I really, really, REALLY like that Sea Fox one.

Oh right, forgot to add this stuff in.... *whistles innocently*  Spoilered due to six relatively large pics.

Yes, I'm hoping that they get the surveys out to the add-on Star Colonel pledgers too.  I'd think about doing a 2nd Star Colonel pledge too, but I think ultimately that's just going to be overkill.  But I think I will go back to my pledge and make sure I have all the Wave 1 stuff prioritized (after considering the $75 credit - which will likely just add more mechs) and then add the few other Wave 2 items whenever I get the credit.

What day is the closing date again?

At the moment it's Feb 9th (time unspecified), but with the delay there seems to be an air of hope in the comments about a possible extention, although nothing official has been mentioned so far.

I also agree, it would be nice if add-ons got their surveys so we could use the credit.

I'm also absolutely nuts and thinking for second wind I might add in another two Star Colonels, but that just seems beyond silly.  Sure would get me all my mechs, plus enough elementals for everyone though... >.>;;;  it was a quick idea, probably won't follow through on it though, since it's a tad too crazy ::P:

Isn't crazy what we do best around here?  I'd do that myself if it was entirely my decision (but it's not).

Scary part is that it would be part of my portion of hobbying fund, so, hard to say.  Hubby seemed to like the idea, but we shall see.  There comes a point where it becomes just too much of a good thing!   ...That and I'll have to put money into Bones V at some point, not to mention that CAV dropship when it goes up, etc...

But having a full trinary of elementals in three different clans (or a binary in two, and two trianries for Hell's Horses)... Ah unno, I kind of have to keep thinking about it.
