I'd consider the extra little bit to stick with Bloodnamed!,

When/if the campaign gets to the $1.5 million stretch goal (where Packs from double forces don't have to be paired anymore), Bloodnamed! will only cost you $5 more since you're buying at least 4 Star Packs.

Quite true, and that's where it becomes somewhat... Difficult to decide.  Well, okay, not really.  It's more difficult to squeeze the budget....

There's also the benefit of getting one more salvage box too...

... ... ... dot dot dot.  Oh screw it, I keep debating about this and that, I'm going in heavier on it all, aaaand back to Star Colonel for me, although I won't be picking up all of the Clan mechs.  If the calculator is correct though, I'll have a whopping 10 salvage boxes o_O

EDIT the second: Part of what helped contribute was looking up the contents of the old 4th edition boxed set, and then realizing that, uhm...  Yeah, wow.  I had a number of memories come flooding in regarding those various mechs....

Last night I ran a kind of pickup demo for CBT for an uncle and nephew who had bought the beginner set with the new Griffin and Wolverine. Both sculpts are really very good. I have a new Shadowhawk arriving today and now I am debating on adding the $40 IS mech pack...

I picked up the beginners box last week (and finally read the quickstart rules last night.....) and the figs look quite nice.  I'm hoping to start prepping them tonight (in theory, still figuring out a painting area in the apartment....).

Going to stop by the LFGS today at lunch and see if they've had any luck finding me the big starter.

And I caved yesterday and upgraded to Star Colonel....

I'm still debating about the IS retaliation pack...  It would mean I'd have the mechs, but there's that little part of me that's all "but if I buy the actual sets, I'll have a few extra paper maps!"  Not quite sure why I'm listening to that voice in my head, because I'm getting some neoprene maps with it all...

You guys are making this really hard to resist.

I blame nostalgia (4th edition boxed set, MW2:Mercs, Mechwarrior 3, Mechwarrior 4, MW4:Mercs, MW:Online), mixed with having had a lot of fun in the past, enjoyment if mechs...  And Xiwo Xerase's calculator... ^_^  It let's you look at things in a different light, to say the least.

I blame the utter lack of big stompy robots I currently have to work with and that I have absolutely none coming from any other kickstarters.
Really, I'm devastated that my BT A Game of Armored Combat won't be in until the end of the week....whatever will I work on in the mean time??

Or I just like big stompy robots....::D:

I also blame the lack of big stompy mechs!  I only have one that's actually "big"!  Besides, any other Kickstarters that may have stompy mechs in them, uh, uhm, isn't delivering for a while so nope, doesn't count in the count! ::P:

I won't be getting A Game of Armored Combat until after this Kickstarter finishes, but still.   I really need to find my copy of the 4th edition boxed set, it's in a safe spot somewhere in the house..

I'd be all over that Timber Wolf statue if it were the same size as the 28mm scale Dictator B....

You know there are a number of "BT inspired" designs on Thingiverse.......scale there doesn't matter.....

Which reminds me, time to get the 3d printer up and running again....

I think there was a toy/model kit like that back in the 2000s that went with clicky battletech.

Yeah, we will see what I wind up doing in the end.  I suspect terrain and some Elite:Dangerous models will be first if/when I get a printer...

I did want to do a full scale "bust" of one of the Heavy Gear... Gears back in the day though for a computer case...  Yeah, 1:1 scale Heavy Gear.  If I did something from BattleTech, I suspect 1:8 would probably be as far as I could get mayyybe get away with 1:5 if I went torso up....

Would be one epic computer case though...

Intriguing.  I might have to look for it, orrr I might just buy a few dozen wire coat hangars and some XPS foam... Hmmm.
