New Site conversation

I'm liking the drop down menu for searching, hopefully it's going to expand since a few of the options are not selectable.

My account appears to just be gone - along with my $150 account credit. Zero warning before doing something like this? ZERO? Are you serious? I don't even care what the new site looks like, I care that you nuked my account without any warning on a holiday. I don't have time to deal with this right now. Reaper's lack of communication gets worse and worse and worse.

This was an accident. I'm going to get your credit restored asap.

Ah, that's because it only returns valid combinations based on the options above.

 

There's still a freeform search at the top of every page

Please email me if you can't find your account. About 1% of the accounts didn't transfer for some reason, but they failed quietly when I was importing, so I can't tell you why.

Associating the old orders is, unfortunately, a massive undertaking. There's GBs of data for 10 years of orders. I'm building a new tool to get you access to those old orders.

I'm also on the list of those getting the "could not find your account" messages.  Sure hope we'll still have order history, as that was rather useful to reference.

 

Email will be sent, uhm, well...  When my mail client decides to actually send the message >.>;;;  Ah, it had one tiny little setting wrong in the client.  Email sent to the one listed on the website.

Any chance of getting the reapermini.com/bones4 page back? With everyone just starting to go through their Bones, it was a really important page and it's even time-sensitive.

 

When you change one search facet, it clears all of the facets below it. Seems... unintentional at best? It would be nice to get a lot of the old tags back, too, like the Pathfinder Adventure Path tags, "child" for miniatures of kids, and so on.

 

All in all, though, it's a nice improvement! I'm a big fan.

Were there plans to re-do the build your own paint sets in the store?  It doesn't look like you can do that anymore with the paints. The bonus case for those was nice, and I was planning on getting one to get a whole bunch of paint at once.

BYOPS wasn't quite ready for launch, and I had to do it this weekend for reasons. So that will be back up ASAP.

You have my apologies for some unsolicited advice: you might want to usability test the new figure finder, if you haven't already. The functionality may be similar to the old figure finder, but it's not at all what I or my wife were expecting based on the "Search Filters" header or the overall design of the feature. I suspect you'd get similar reactions from other users.

 

I'll definitely be looking forward to the Bones4 page's return. I need to finish my inventory! :). I already imported my account on the beta site just for kicks, and it looks like it's transferred over here no problem. The only thing missing are my old orders, but it sounds like that's expected and they're not coming back, and I'm okay with that.

 

Thanks again for all your hard work on this. It's a really kick-broccoli site, and a big improvement!

That was my first thought as well. I actually made huge use of the order history, and have a little script that scrapes it to overlay what I've previously purchased.

 

Is it possible to get that restored in any way?

Paraphrasing what was added in on the email reply for restoring my account - it's being worked on, and legacy order history will be brought back.

The legacy order history will be available hopefully by the end of the week. email me if you can't get your store email to work.

The carts are very incompatible, and we're using a tighter inventory control system, too. If you email me, I may be able to help you out.
