July 20. You did what, to the moon?

Hey, no one can tell the difference. So why burden you all with the gooey details.

Let's just say, that was some amazing mac n cheese :winkthumbs:

One of stipulations of my plea agreement is that I'm not allowed to go into detail regarding those events.

July 19. Do you go to any conventions? If so, which ones, and what do you go there to do?

Nope.  Of the cons I'm aware of, Adepticon is an acceptable driving distance away, but I've never made it. Someday I'd like to make it to Reapercon but that seems unlikely as long as they keep it on Labor Day.

Me too. We had just moved to Ramstein AB and my parents let me stay up late to watch the landing on AFRTS. And I remember that during the time the mission was on the moon, we were in downtown Kaiserslautern and the electronics stores had their televisions on and tuned to the broadcast as well. And people were standing on the sidewalk watching there, too.

25 years from Normandy to Mare Tranquilitatis.

broke it.  We blew that sucker right out of the sky.

Never pass up the chance to destroy the moon in an RPG.

i mean yes it was a clockwork moon in a pocket universe, and within Fireball range from the surface.

(I was actually using adamantium arrows to ignore hardness and shooting at its vulnerable bits. )

- we burned out the sorcerers spell slots and a wand of fireballs doing it, plus my expensive arrows but it was totally worth it.

it was totally provoked us.

35 years of RPG and I have only once destroyed a moon.

although my current group has "Lets crash the spaceship into the moon"  as Plan B for any space game, I missed the session where it was coined.

66 years from Kill Devil Hill.

100 years from the Golden Spike.

Hats off to American adventurers.

I don't know if I have one, to be honest. It's not something I've ever really given any thought to.
