This must have bee an event Frog God Games created, not the event page we created. Frog God Games is our official Gaming Sponsor for ReaperCon 2019.

This looks like the one you created, it's the one that links from the reaper miniatures events page.  List Frog God Games as the first host, then Reaper.

The owner of Frog God Games, Bill Webb, has been involved in more than one ... altercation at conventions involving excess of alcohol and attentions paid to extremely unwilling young ladies. It seems to be a pattern.

Frog God has done nothing to make me uncomfortable.

Same, FGG has backed Pathfinder & D&D & other systems (one of my favs, Swords & WIzardry is their own) for quite some time. If not for them, we wouldn't have quite a few missing creatures & items not yet made by WoTC for example. Their Tome of Horrors 5e has some nice hole fillers when it comes to monsters.

Yah, I didn't see this one before posting (oddly it didn't show up after Dr B's post I quoted????

I guess as a gaming company, they haven't done me wrong but I guess individuals make up companies......::(:

Here's a statement from Bill about what he did: https://froggodgames.com/frogs/statement-by-bill-webb/

It's hard to paint an entire company as bad for the actions of one boorish person. But it is something to be wary of, certainly. ReaperCon is such a family friendly/fun and welcoming event - I'm sure that the staff will be alert to anything going sideways.

From what I've seen fun and friendly doesn't deal well with seriously problematic attendants, especially if they are strongly involved in the con itself.

An SFcon I've been going to for years had a lot of problems.  Indeed, my daughter was unwilling to go to the gaming room because of one person who would not stop creeping on her and other young women.

The problem was only solved when the con instituted a serious policy and set up specific staff to enforce it.

What's ReaperCon's Harassment policy?

Ouch.

The internet thrives on blowing up drama.

Sounds like dude is aware of his behavior coming off wrong and that they'll be most excellent!!

One is always an ambassador of the company one works for.

So much this.

FGG as an entity hadn't done anything to bother me, but I'm not as plugged into the convention scene as some folks, and I flat was unaware of the behind the scenes drama.

We have a harassment policy (and this will be mentioned in the FAQ.

https://reapercon.com/policies

It's the first bolded section following the legalese about us revoking passes if you're a bad egg. Correct answer: you report it at the soonest possible opportunity to a staff member and let us deal with it, including but not limited to police involvement.

....
