Help looking for something similar to this!!

Recommended Posts

So my Weds game at the FLGS I'm running Frog God Games' "The City that Dripped Blood" & the main adversaries are creatures called Skelzi(s). A description for a miniature equivalent is: medium sized humanoid with emancipated body & a bird head.

image.thumb.png.5ec0d7d133c6b8129f868b36b9baa0dc.png (btw, very cool option, I just copied that from the pdf & I hit CTRL+V to paste into this box & it uploaded!!)

That is a Skelzi. I'm thinking a undead that isn't decomposing & a head swap. At this point, I'd just take a close equivalent to the picture as the PCs are a little over halfway through the adventure. Currently I'm just using blank Reaper bases for anything they encounter out of this adventure so it's kinda awkward & disappointing coming from a DM that uses minis.

Thanks for any help, it's very much appreciated.

02631 cockatrice + 60007 sinspawn might be a good head+body pair.

I also like the new plague doctors. You just have to do some creative paint on the face.

Hell Dorado made a vulture/person hybrid more terrifying than a lot of Kingdom Death's body horror stuff, but it's not readily available (I'd offer mine, but it's seeing use in my own game right now). It's called "Vorenus."

Yes, this would be a good one.  And I agree it is super creepy.  Something about a mouth in a mouth....

Vorenus is a cool looking figure. A bit more elaborate then I'd like to rep those skelzis, but the sinspawn I think will be perfect. I really don't need to do any modding really. Again the mini is just so I'm not having blank bases.

Maybe something from Crocodile Games' Wargods of Aegyptus? Their Tethru might have a few choices. They have the tall, thin bird look, but pretty long beaks.

Their evil counterparts might be even better, maybe one of these?

They have both the bird head and the lean undead body.

Yah those are nice. Too bad, time for me to get them is less then a week. One of the biggest problems of having weekly games & online ordering. I did see noble knight can get me the figure on Weds next week (est), so I went with that. I figure I can use a Hakaru witch leader would make for a great rep for the High Leader (one of 2 main bosses they'll face), the rest will be the sinspawns. I've acquired quite a few of those due to the Boneyard bins @ Reapercon.

It's the only he has right now besides anther one with a marker mini. I really wish it was the 9b one was as that would be perfect but you gotta use what you can get your hands on.

I have no idea. As quoted from their monster entry:

Skelzis originate from beyond the Material Plane. They have humanoid bodies with leathery skin, but their human appearance is rendered alien by the beak that protrudes from the birdlike skelzi face. Moreover, a skelzi’s hide is chameleonic, changing to blend with its surroundings. The creatures usually travel robed and masked outside the safety of their own enclaves. Every skelzi outpost, colony, and expedition is well-supplied with weredactyls. Skelzis are aggressively expansionistic, so countless colonies and more than a few empires exist across the infinite planes of existence. Skelzi empires tend to be decadent, corrupt, torpid, and slow to respond to threats — but when they do respond, it is likely to be with overwhelming force. Smaller and younger societies are more energetic. All skelzi societies are organized around a many-tiered caste system in which lower-ranking members serve those above them. The fact that skelzis are willing to serve other skelzis who outrank them should not be confused with an attitude of obedience or with any sense of loyalty. High-ranking skelzis wear extravagant headdresses and rich clothing, deliberately drawing attention to themselves and to their high positions. The skelzis of Temelpa are all vampiric, having been transformed via ritual by Fuulagh. About half of them are also spellcasters (see sidebar). The Grand Exsanguinator is a spellcasting, vampiric skelzi.

The mini above will be the Grand Exs. guy.

Skelzi game stuff are around 45 HPs; avg AC; they have a vampiric bite that drains PCs HP max & restores their HPs; they also have a single person Charm ability & they carry a blood whip that does lingering damage. There hide gives them a +6 & advantage to their stealth checks if they aren't wearing any clothing.

Nagpa is way beyond what this adventure uses. It's only a 5th level adventure. Nagpa is a CR 17 creature.

Bill Webb's Decks of Dirty Tricks
Bill Webb's Deck of Dirty Tricks has been used and enjoyed for years in convention and home campaigns. It was made for use during game sessions to encourage unexpected events and player interactivity. It has proved to be one of Frog God Games' most popular products and now new decks are available! Each card has a flavor test of a pop culture reference, meme, pun, or worse. Such as… What is this? An invisibility cloak for ants? Followed by a mechanical thing to happen in game. Such as… Target gains invisibility for 3 rounds.
Options are available for 1,2, or 3 decks (your choice).
      The available decks are-
The Classic Deck of Dirty Tricks The dungeon-themed - “Bill Webb’s Deck of Dirty Tricks, Volume II” A more Wilderness themed" Bill Webb’s Deck of Dirty Tricks, Volume III" Plus…
The full deal- Get all three decks and a SIGNED copy of Bill Webb’s Book of Dirty Tricks
The Classic Deck of Dirty Tricks.
Made for use during game sessions to encourage unexpected events and player interactivity. The cards are all printed with suggestions for changes in the narration and their potential mechanical implications. It is system neutral but works best with any one of the many variations of the world's most popular roleplaying game.
The New Expansion Decks of Dirty Tricks
We are bringing 2 new decks for this Indiegogo project. We are also reprinting the classic (and sold out classic Deck of Dirty tricks . The expansion decks are planned for 48 cards with, often requested blank cards for creating your very own "dirty tricks" for your home or convention game.

      The Tiny Print Run
      Why Indiegogo?
Frog God Games is continuing the use of this IndieGoGo crowdfunding method for Deck of Dirty Tricks This method is almost the inverse of how we design our crowdfunding projects on Kickstarter. We call it the 'Tiny Print Run'.
Thus, Indiegogo projects by Frog God Games will-
      ·         Be short in duration
      ·         Be limited to a single title
      ·         Have options priced between $5-$50
      ·         Have simple fulfillment process that does not use Backerkit

      Why the Tiny Print Run?
Since 2012 our crowdfunding approach has been extravagant in every way. Ambitious with massive page counts, plus numerous add-on options and stretch goals. All supporting a primary title itself as many as 990 pages.
This has resulted in Kickstarter's with memorable pledge rewards that include top-quality hardcover books with sometimes dozens of stretch goal bonuses and add-on extras. These are awesome AND they are expensive to buy for customers like you because they are very expensive to make for publishers like us.
      Why not use Kickstarter?
We will still be using Kickstarter, frequently, for our large-scale projects. These smaller projects are happening in response to the feedback we have heard from both fans and 'almost' fans alike. We hear the request for less expensive options for our projects and products all the time. A second frequent desire expressed to us, whether at conventions, on social media or in email, is for a larger selection of smaller, faster-paced adventures that can be completed in 2-3 sessions and not necessitate a full two year campaign.
Additionally, Frog God Games has grown in both sales and brand awareness.  This opportunity will give us the additional resources to invest in the very best books in all of our formats.
      Project Reward
With the wishes of the fans in mind, this and future Indiegogo projects will fund standalone projects that are both affordable and fun. This project, as well future Tiny Print Run projects, is narrowly focused.
      Project Delivery
      PDF Perks
We will email the instructions to all eligible supporters with instructions on accessing PDF items. The PDF files are distributed using Constant Contact service and our web store. You will need to have a customer account on the Frog God Games website to get your PDF; it's how we keep track of everything and grants unlimited access by you to your reward.
The Indiegogo perk PDF files are 'purchased' at zero cost by supporters (as they are paid for during the Indiegogo promotion) at the Frog God Games web store using a coupon code. That code we will be sent via Constant Contact to the address provided by Indiegogo. Please contact us with any questions/requests about this.
      Deck and Softcover Perks
Deck and softcover perks will be mailed to the address provided by us via Indiegogo.

I’m pretty happy with how she turned out. I’ve been working on contrast for a long time- so I was happy to achieve some in her cloak.

I kinda thought she was “tinker belle”ish- so I painted her sorta with that in mind.

The title says it all. There has been a private facebook group with occasional interaction from Bill Barsh the proprietor of Pacesetter Games that bought the mouds out of the Center Stage Miniatures bankruptcy and pre-sold them again to the unsuspecting public

Unfortunately the line must be cursed as there have been big problems on miniature delivers and haughty communications following representations of deliveries been made which were false and over a year old.

Is anyone else in the same boat or considering transacting with Pacesetter.

      *-Cheers

I've had these for many, many years. I am pretty sure they are reaper minis, but I can not find any reference to these particular kobolds when I search.

They are very small, here is a scale pic next to a genestealer:

This guy was a good time. I didn't go for anything special or challenging besides trying out a classic green skin, which I rarely use. I like how it turned out, my hobgoblins from Bones 3 might end up green.
