Le sigh. Still no hydra, phoenix, or the other minis I'm actually wanting to buy. I think, of the minis that have been previewed, only 1 is a figure I have on my buy list (the elf queen). I wonder what time on the 31st they'll lock the PM...

They mentioned this in the previous update: Lockdown will be 10PM UK time on Friday 31st.

I'm hoping to see a few dinos before locking in, but that's going to be tricky

Thanks for that. Sounds like they're about 5 hours ahead of EST, so I won't be home when it closes on Friday. So I'll have to finalize it by Thursday evening. Good to know.

I'm going back and forth on how big I want to go on this. I'm working a lot of overtime, so I feel like I can kind of justify a buy, but I also have Bones 5 to pay for, and I'm not sure if I really want to spring for the elf on the chicken-rex or the monster pack with the fire elemental. They're potentially really cool, and I like the look of several of those monsters, but I'm just not sure...

If you are looking at them for gaming, and you are a GM, then I recommend thinking about what encounters you can pull off with them.

That is why I am already statting out Dark Elf blood sports, and wondering how to build a Dark Elf arena....

I like this rendition of Dark Elves more than GW's. And the feathery dinos are a great touch.

They are not 'cold ones' - these are hot blooded dino critters.

For the undead... I have Gary Gygax's Necropolis as well as the as-yet-unread Mummy's Mask adventure path. (I don't want to run it, I want to play it.)

Ugh. Spent way too much and still didnt' get everything I wanted. Oh well. I'm still painting the halfling stuff anyway so... More of a collector I guess.

I know the feeling, I went in for almost all the Undead and still regret not getting all the Elves.

And in the meanwhile I only just started painting the first mini  of a whole army of lizardmen I got in the Lost Kingdoms KS, not to mention Bones..

Has there been any info on them actually delivering in March? Seems ambitious considering we haven't seen all the renders and next to no production pieces. With the scale of this KS I would be completly fine with my desert elves being late, just wondering ^^

Their last (halfling) Kickstarter was also quite successful - not as many miniatures as this one. I believe that if there was a delay it was not enough to really have an effect on me. And they also had not shown every model as a sculpt before they closed the pledge manager. They did most of the halflings (as far as I remember) in-house and they were FAST.

When you log into backerkit there's an option to change your pledge level - if you click on your pledge reward at the top of the page you then will see a screen showing your choices and a link to change pledge levels.

Thanks!  I must have missed that.

It's not really clear that you can click on the pledge level, I only knew what to do because I clicked around until I found the right link for myself...

Here's a kickstarter that I thought looked particularly cool - they're flat-based tiles with magnets that can be reconfigured anyway you want. The video in particular looks pretty cool. Already completely funded. Prices are a bit high and ultimately the system's not for me, but I thought perhaps some others might be interested. :)

      Story
      The Death Knight Rises
To me there's only one true fallen paladin who, deceived by the darkest forces, broke his oath and became a paragon of hatred and terror. But, I am into classic TTRPGs, so I wanted to rethink the concept. Boris Woloszyn, amazing sculptor that he is, took over and has transformed this idea into a remarkable sets of miniatures.
        The Miniatures
There are only two. The Minion is 32mm scale and the Fallen Paladin measures 40mm to the top of his head. They will get cast in the crispest of resins. They come unassembled and without bases.
The Paladin - doing a gentle spin
       PLAY The Minions
      The Pledge Levels
There are two. Ones comes with only the Death Knight, the other comes with the Death Knight and two minions.
The price for only the Death Knight is 15CA$, the set with 1 Death Knight and 2 minions is 35CA$ (less than 30US$).
Backerkit will charge max. 14CA$ for postage on top of that.
        Stretch Goals
We have one and I will unlock it if we reach 10K.
        Add-On's
We will open a backer kit pledge manager for those that want some extra minis, and we make sure to drop all the suitable Boris stuff in there too.

I want to give you a little preview what to expect in terms of add-on's.

There will be this well known lot sculpted by Boris. 10C$ each. (In case you want to top up to find out what 10K will bring)
And there will be some 3D printed things (20 Microns, they paint like casts).

      1. This lad and his little buddy, because dwarves and gobbos. 8CA$
      2. 3 Halflings on a rampage. 2 female 1 male, because. Also - kettle jump pack. The pacK of 3 plus 2 steam bases will be 20 C$
I still have more to throw into the mix, but I need to re-watch that episode now.

      Thanks again!
