Mine arrived today too. Sucked up most of my attention. I was able to play a bit with stuff at lunch. The sorceress on volocigator is pretty awesome... though I managed to break her so I converted her

Greenstuffworld Roller pins, I have cobblestone, Greek, Egyptian, Aztec and Plain. ( the latter is for flattening the putty/clay before you apply a motif) These are awesome!   Some

Actually mine came in the mail today, so no tracking info for my order was ever emailed   But at least it came to the right address

Gammorean Guard?

No idea, looks like a pigfaced orc to me.

Anyway, as cool as it might be, I'm not backing a new KS before I have the stuff from the last one in my hands.

They're printing, making moulds, etc, I hope things will get shipped soon.

I'm pretty sure they're planning to get everything shipped before kicking off the next kickstarter - based on a few references I've seen about pushing the next one back due to unavoidable delays on this one

That said, I'm in full agreement - although it is made easier by the fact that I'm not interested in Orcs of any description

  • 2 weeks later...

The previews of the next kickstarter arent really looking like my cup of tea. Guess thats a good thing.

Still debating on adding the rumbleslam team. But only really interested in Cleo and perhaps the Scorpion king... Seems like not enough to warrant $30. Also never added the Lynx girls or the heavy dino cavalry. Cavalry wise I already have 30... 20 bright riders and 10 Hex... so not sure i need 10 more riders. The Lynx girls are nice though... Just they waited too long to confirm we could add,, and now I am sort of saving for Massive darkness 2.

Adding the heavy cav adds flexibility to your army list.

Grump and I play 1500 point KoW armies, with 500 of that being a sideboard or three that we can swap in or out.

I may know Grump's core army, but whether I will also be facing wraiths or a zombie horde or an undead dragon makes my choices harder.

I guess I do need them... Or do I? I do! Maybe!

I want Cleo and the Anubis from the Rumbleslam team so I understand the $30 dilemma.. they are not sure if they will sell them separately or not

Your not making this easy...

Pledge switch was approved, so I need to postpone adding more bones  Hopefully I'll be able to sell some stuff to recuperate some of the money, but there was so much I wanted that this seemed the way to go. Hopefully their next KS is less interesting, but that's what I thought about this one too :upside:

Been watching the previews for this on Bold's Instagram,  Some crazy cute models, this time sculpted by  Ismael Nieto.  I'm particularly fond of Bisa and Tori, the winners of the dino race, and the BatPacker is too cute.  Resin cast and STL like their last several releases.  I've picked up their STLs before and been very happy, Planning to try to swing for at least one in resin this time, though shipping from Sweden hurts.

OMG!  Jason Weibe helped create the new Dwarven line being released on Kickstarter by Tomb Guardians!  These minis look so cool and they are cheap!  I haven't seen anyone post about this yet but here is the link.  It starts tomorrow morning.  They also said Bobby Jackson and Gene Van Horne created there monsters in the set.  Cant wait.   I purchased there Amazons and they were fantastic!  I posted some pics.  Im assuming the Fire Demon and add ons are in Resin.

      A huge 2 for 1 KS!
(You get BOTH Humans and Halflings in one project! )
Bloody Peasants! by Midlam Miniatures — Kickstarter

      Story
"Oh no!  It's an armed agrarian uprising!"
Toiling in the fields for their feudal overlords, the peasants are equally quick to turn their tools to defending their lands from monstrous invaders or, when pressed to the limit, revolting and overturning cruel and greedy landowners.
      Bloody Peasants!
A selection of human and halfling farmers in 28mm scale miniatures for all of your fantasy games.
You can choose from humans, halflings or both!
      The Humans
A familiar sight in the villages surrounding Midlam.
      The Halflings
A smaller folk, doing the same jobs as the longshanks.

      It's a Midlam project, so you know what that means;
Maybe a stretch goal, very possibly an early fulfillment, and absolutely no nonsense.
