The mold lines basically cover every last detail on Nott, and their details are fuzzy at best. Maybe I've gotten spoiled lately, but they have worse detail than most of the bones in my collection. You can't really make out Nott's bandages at all...she's the one I started with because I was watching the latest episode and wanted a small one to start with. They are definitely the lowest quality in my collection.

But that's just my opinion. I also have OCD, so those mold lines are more or less deal breaking for me.

Thanks.  I'm not a fan of the show, just a supporter of small Kickstarters, so I'm not emotionally invested in them.  I opened up the add-on box with the 4 guys who all look alike, the fighter and the robot guy. They all seemed clean cast to me.  But I can certainly understand your frustration with mold lines on one of the smaller figures.

@Mouse is it just too much work to scrape away the mold lines? Too many of them?

A bit. There is also some slippage (not sure how to fix it when the lines protrude inward), and the lines go over some of the few details on the models.

It's fine, though, as I said - I'm moderately invested in them and needed something to paint that would be prohibitive to get to display quality anyway to get through this hurdle.

On Bones 1 - I started painting around the Bones 3 release, so I don't really have any Bones 1 minis. I did buy the Bones 3 core, Stonehill? Mansion Expansion, and Graveyard expansion on release, though.

Please no.  I've had that all week.  If like a quiet weekend to play games and paint.  Between this week and next in dealing with oral surgery and starting a new cancer drug.  I would really like this to be the calm between storms.

Ok you take it easy Kanga. It so far has been an smooth ride, but I still have to go to work..... It might be one heck of a ride.

Last night at the FLGS was a blast even thou I didn't get to run either game I had planned. I didn't have any signees but it doesn't matter to me. I ended up playing in a PFS game, been many years since I was on players side & a "normal" character for Pathfinder. I just played a pre-gen. Just good to get to play with the Pathfinder guys for once.

Money raised for Extra Life was allot. I know by 11 pm there was at least $500 dollars turned into the store. They had extra "cheats" for all the games last night. If you donated, you got back a plastic dino for each buck. There was a cheat sheet what you could do per game. Example in the Pathfinder game, we could reroll for 1 dino, or 5 to roll a D60. Best was 5 or 10 for random monster (5 was on a d12 chart, 10 was whatever you wanted per selection & they were doozies). Guy came in & plopped down a $100 for the charity & then used allot of it in the game to summon up random critters.  (Best one was a T-Rex in a Dungeon corridor). He said he was saving most of it for today's games.

Alcohol was a flow'n after the store closed. The We Be Goblins game was a blast even thou I wasn't in it. I was the wandering beer merchant & I used my dinos to make the GM  (or whoever I wanted) take a shot of whatever he wanted. Anyone of course, could counter it by their dinos with a mixer or non-alc drink. While the game was scheduled to go until it ended at 4 AM, it was called early as the GM was severely intoxicated + as part of the Extra Life thing, he was gonna run a "Hung over" game of Pathfinder this morning. Also nice is no one wandered off & no one drove home intoxicated, as there was DDs & such.

All in all a fun time for a great cause. The charity & the benefactor meant allot to the owners of the store so I didn't mind putting a little more then I had planned into it.

"For the Children!!!" :poke:
