I just checked their webpage...it says the warehouse is open. I could not find that ship I liked as a separate item though.

Only sold as part of “Elven Docks”. [?]

And not enough docks.

That boat says PC Traveling Home to me.

Agreed about dowels and chopsticks, but those are an easy fix, we even have chopsticks for just that use. ::):

I wasn't even looking for a ship, just the docks and wharfs. I want something like Laketown.

That ship though, looks like fun to build a character around.

I saw a different kit that was all docks. And there is a whole build your own Venice section.

But planked wharfs are just a pile of craft sticks and glue.

Jetty.

This is in the ^ Venetian section. £6.00

But the raised street kits from that section would yield some very nice brick and stone Jetties. (Wharfs, piers, quays...)

By the way, a “dock” is really the open space between two jetties. A dock is the space the ship fits into. A drydock is a place to put a ship that can be drained of water.

More expensive (cause resin) but very nice looking is Galladoria Games's City Docks.  I really should paint mine.

Wharfs! ...jetties. Not docks.

Grump's given me the same lecture, about drydocks, that it isn't the structure, it's the space inside that holds the boat.

My reply was I want people to know what I'm talking about, not having people that already know what I am talking about to nod their heads.

Grump suggested coffee stirs to make piers, but time. BD is the great devourer of time.

I never thought to look at the Venice section. I didn't think of Carnivale at all.

That's gorgeous.

Oh, I didn't think, I'll bet SOMEBODY has done a 3D print set of docks!

Bingo! Dungeon Sticks! ::D:

We've been looking for more reasons to buy a 3D printer! Grump will think it's his, but it will be mine, all mine!

I love getting ignored in meetings.

You too, huh?

I especially love times when I raise concerns that something might break, get ignored, and then spend hours/days fixing things when they break.  (Usually the fix is measured in hours but the fallout post-outage meetings can go on for weeks...)

The ninja rodent that was terrorizing our kitchen has been dealt with. I do feel a bit of remorse for any suffering incurred, but judging by the results it did not last long. At least it wasn't another racoon in the attic. I was catching them in a live trap (legal for me as a landowner), patching the hole in the soffit and letting them go. But one kept coming back and making a new hole, so he died of rapid lead poisoning.

I really am fond of wildlife, just not in my house.
