Also, survival paint kits and monthly paint kits are supposed to restock next week. Monday is a holiday and they don't want to overwhelm the packers on Tues, so look for them after that.

Day64 of lockdown. Today was a luxury!

We escaped for a few hours to drive from the Desert Hideaway down into Orange County and Knott's Berry Farm to acquire our ordered Boysenberry Plants.

Very efficient Curbside Delivery setup with a set of instructions being given with each order for plants.

The instructions are a reprint of Walter Knott's original instructions sent out with each order of berry bushes from their Nursery Operation.

I thought I would be able to plant all three bushes in one large pot.  No dice.  The planting instructions recommend 6 feet between rows and 6 feet between plants, and include suggestions for trellising

Plan B.  We have the large pots  I was planning to use one of, but will now be using three.  I need to go to Lowes and pick up a pre-fab trellis for each pot plus some more potting soil and other arrangements.  I have this feeling we now have a lifetime supply of boysenberries with just a little attention and luck.

On the way back we picked up dinner from our favorite Mexican Restaurant.  Just as good as eating in but we miss the luxury of sit down table service.

Almost a 200 mile trip.  I wish we could do it again tomorrow.

PS:  Drove around Disneyland on the way out of Orange County.  The area is a Ghost Town with all the surrounding restaurants and hotesl/motels all shut down.  Very Depressing when thinking about the economic cost of all this.

Didn't get a good look at them, but they seemed cute.

This is a good beer!

Evening all! My players have entered the Temple of Pain! So far, there hasn't been as much pain as I'd like, but that's what happens when the party level ranges from 5-8, and there are 7 PCs.

Work went pretty well this week. And it looks like I'll actually only have to work a couple of hours tomorrow, and then get a 3 day weekend. I should be spending it at Balticon, but... There's only a virtual Balticon this year. Like every other con this year. I really hope that there are some real cons again next year. I miss people.  But if you're looking for something fun to attend this weekend... Check it out, it's free!

And speaking of free, Civilizations 6 is free on Epic Games, and there's a bunch of other stuff on sale.

BEER!

Oh, and as we reach the end of all things (or at least the end of the thread) have we come up with a name for the next one?

Finished planting all of the vegetables in the garden yesterday.  Over the last couple of days I ended up with a bit of a sun burn.  Nothing too bad cut a surprise when I have an itch and scratch my arm where it was burned.

Went out today, and made garden map so I know which plants are where.  We got several different types of tomatoes and pepper and cucumbers this year, and I want to know what is where in the off chance that my labels in the ground get moved.

I read the second word as "painting" at first and had to go back and re-read...

This is too adorable, a veterinary surgery in Australia rescued a rare golden morph Brushtail Possum that would never have survived in the wild. Who says that everything there is dangerous? It's the cutest thing ever

I'm also guessing that he sounds like Ryan Reynolds as well :poke:

Cute and dangerous are not mutually exclusive. I mean, have you seen Tasmanian devils?
