Thanks, y'all! If you're interested in how I made the armor look kind of gross/ruined:

 

I first painted the metal as normal, by basecoating and then shading/highlighting. After that, I used GW's Typhus Corrosion technical paint. I used it as a shade, but the key was that after I put it on, I wiped the figure off in a downward direction with a makeup sponge. This left the corroded effect in the depths. After that, I retouched the highlights.

 

I use Reaper paints for just about everything, but I have to admit that I enjoy GW's technical paints every now and then!

Thank you! The base is from Secret Weapon Miniatures. They make some amazing stuff and I highly recommend them!

Genius; will have to try this soon! I love that dark, pitted, cast-iron effect.

Yeah, that Typhus Corrosion is pretty cool. Its got a mild grit in it or something. It also works well if you put it down before adding rust effects!
