Hey, don't normally do WIPs, so forgive me if I skip steps, but I started working on my gazebo from Bones 4.

Built up a cork base and mounted on some basswood (slightly harder than balsa):

I'm going to be using this as blocking terrain in Kings of War, so I don't really need any interior functionality.

I got a Rivendell vibe from this, so I'm going to load it up with some greenery. First step is covering the rock parts with a gritty paste:

Just left the steps exposed and some edges.

That's... I hadn't even thought about doing something like that... Totally stealing this idea.

Loving the direction you're going with it. Definitely agree about the Rivendell vibe. Here's a couple of screenshots of the gazebo in Rivendell from The Fellowship of the Rings for further vibeage:

Suppose that's why it gave the vibe! Always had a decent memory for aesthetics.

Tonight's progress is small. Zenithal prime, plus green over top the grassy areas:

And then some gap filling I had neglected earlier but was now bothering me. Used Vallejo's plastic putty:

See how bad I am about WIPs?

I think this is the next pic I got, started highlight and shade layers.

And then layered some extra ground colors in:

Next, basic ground cover:

Then decided to try something a bit different. I want a dry white bush look. Got some lighter lichen, mixed in some white paint.

With that done, I started cutting it up and placing it.

More less what I wanted, but I wanted to bring some of the browns and greens into my white bramble bushes.

Not really sure I'm done, the bushes lost some height, I think I might add some more back around the gazebo itself.

'Tis the season! I posted this a while ago before is got paint on him. Santac'Laus has featured in the Christmas one-shot games I've run for the last couple of years (and this year is no exception). He's gone from villain to lovable (but weird) friend, who rides a manta-ray-shaped sleigh, pulled by a team of beholders.

If you're one of my players, please don't read the spoiler!

The hat, sack and present were all made with green stuff. The snow was made with snow powder mixed with water effects.

Hello forum family, I wanna share with ya all my most recent fatigue: Marthragul!
I was in doubt if painting it into a realistical Earth dragon, or something more colourful... The Magenta won! :D
And I chose to don't cut corners, so no drybrush, no washes, no feathering... just dear, old layering, shading and glazing
...cause I'm a fast painter, as you know

And, yeah! This took me almost a month of at least two hours per day... basically I hate this dragon now

Enough talking, time for pics :D

I really hope you like it, if you have any question do not hesitate :)
As always every C&C is more than welcome.
      Thank you :)

I painted this guy up, despite having eyes on Gale Force 9's Behir for my personal use. Decided to go ahead and liquidate it in a certain auction site, but so far, no takers. Ah, well. It's still a nice looking mini, so it doesn't hurt to have one around until I manage to finish painting the GF9 Behir... Comments, recommendations, and suggestions are appreciated.

So this is fun, because I can show you folks the Christmas presents I'm working on, so it's like I get to give them twice. Anyway, here's my take on her, really enjoyed going for a winter feel.
