Young Green Dragon - wizkids

Recommended Posts

I love the shades of green you chose, and especially the way the lighter greens on the wings and dorsal fin make the whole thing so vibrant.

^100% this.

The vibrancy of the greens makes this dragon look exceedingly otherworldly. Like it lives in a fey forest or something. Simply beautiful.

My wife, @Shinma, started to paint the Clockwork Dragon several years ago.
It got to a point where the body was nearly done, and the wings and base remained.

We had prepared a big gear salvaged from a monitor stand, sanded down by a friend.

Then, inspiration and drive was lost and it sat on the shelf, staring at her, unfinished.

Recently she allowed me to finish it. I did the wings, small part of the body, along with the base.
      Here's our result!

      Just painted a few figures.
First up is an Alligator from Wizkids.
His base is just under 5cm in diameter

Then some sort of larva, which I like to think of as a kind of "baby mothra" - also from wizkids.
It's coloring is based (roughly) off a real-life caterpillar.

Lastly, a couple of Cave Worms (Giant Leeches, #44031, Reaper).

Spent just about a week on this one. It was fun. My GS work sucks but it's done. C&C welcome.
