Inarah
Bah! My Reapercon classes require 38 unique paints and figures. Not one color is duplicated among 6 classes. I own about half of them, and of the remaining items, my FLGS had ONE. And they're out of green stuff.
haldir
When I went up to the store today to discuss my plan for D&D here in town, I found out the GM coordinator/Pathfinder Society GM guy is showing a fellow gamer some tips on Roll20. So I'm gonna take the op to sit in & see. Again, I like finding thing out on my own, but a hands on help like this, I'm all for it. Funny, looking forward to seeing the person he is showing the program too as well. It's been awhile since I've seen her, a fellow/former player of my weekly games.
Gadgetman!
Got my shipping notice for my boxes today. Refreshing a browser window every half hour is much more fun than watching paint dry. (I've been repainting part of my home recently... )

Maybe you could ask the instructors if certain substitutions are okay? @Reaper_Jon Is there a way currently set up to contact the instructors to ask questions? You can send an email to the One in the Confirmation email. And i can forward it to the teacher in question. 19 hours ago, Inarah said: And they're out of green stuff. @Inarah we have green stuff available? https://www.reapermini.com/search/green/latest/75006

In your shiny paint class you suggest 9450 Dragon gold. Would 89552 Valeros gold, or 9464 Cursed gold work? Likewise, instead of 9452 Steel Blade, would 89549 Cold Iron, 89550 Crusader Silver, or 9675 Shadow Silver work instead? ~325 bottles of paint, something has to be a close match.

I'm so sorry, I saw this at lunch on Wednesday but forgot to check when I got off of work. I'll do some testing first thing when I get home and get back to you. :) Huzzah! --OneBoot :D

Dragon gold: Cursed gold matches the color closer than Valeros Gold, but either one seems to behave about the same in both translucency and shine. Blade Steel: Shadow silver seems to be a very nice substitute, though it does run noticeably blue; that won't really matter for my class, though. Actually, if you sprung for the Brinewind Box, the 'Pieces of Eight' that came in the 'Pirate Colors' box is an excellent substitute. The rest were either not translucent enough or not shiny enough for the specific demo I'll be doing, but are still nonetheless useful! I'm glad you asked this, actually; it gave me an idea of another demo piece to include in that class. Huzzah! --OneBoot :D 4
Moderator OneBoot Posted August 22, 2020 Moderator Share Posted August 22, 2020 Well, I apparently hit the magic level of tiredness that tends to lead to creative juices flowing through my brain, and just spent the past 2 hours pouring the entire outline for 2 of my 3 classes onto paper! The last will require a bit more wakefulness to put together, but I should be able to finish that this weekend. Now I just need to finish all of my demo minis... Kangaroorex
this is today's afternoon activity, collecting the class packages and seeing if anything is missing. I also need to set up the display in the miniature painting area so I can watch and paint
TripleH
If you haven't ordered your class supplies, i'd get on the soon. My order from the 14th has finally left the Denton Post Office and just now made it to Fort Worth Distro Center. Estimated Delivery of Friday the 28th. 1

I don't think green stuff would make good lemonade. Over the weekend I found a missing box of supplies, with my pin drill and a few inches of putty left from one of last year's classes. It will do. Once it gets on a truck it should go faster. What's happening with the USPS right now really burns me. 35 minutes ago, Cranky Dog said: Sooooo... 10 days left. Why wait? With my FLGS's anv that weekend, I may end up running 2 Roll20 DnD games. I really need to get a handle on that program. Luckily, both games are simple games.
