Only 366 days ‘til the Friday 5pm MSP entry deadline! /plus a few hours, but I am sure you’ll fritter away a few anyway I already started the drawings and figure selections! If I do them all I'll have 11 entries, one of which has 13 figures.... hmmm... 366 days. I can do this, really... yeah... not deluding myself at all.... I'm not actually, I'm planning the diorama with 13 figures to either be my only piece or take 2 years. 2

One which would probably require one of the figures to be sculpted from scratch, so that ones' out.
odinsgrandson
Well, I don't know if it is time to start considering the 2nd Annual Haribo Paintoff yet. I mean, we didn't start organizing the first one until we were halfway through it.

Heisler
There are four "white papers" as you will on the four areas of the MSP Open painting competition. They are pinned in the ReaperCon section of the forums but here are the links: Painters Division Open Division Diorama Division Armor/Ordnance Division
Cranky Dog
Before ReaperCon 2020, I need one more day to recuperate from RC19. I need to survive Bones V. And I need to paint and assemble sooo many new things. Though I only entered a single thing (got Bronze in the Open category). The feedback I got afterwards combined with info from the classes has inspired me on how to up my game for next year. I realized that the Bones Mashup "class" is a perfect opportunity to create many Open category entries. My largest piece can fit the Large Monster category (depending on how large is needed). I already have several ideas for Open, diorama, armor/ordnance, pink, Bombshell, etc. I may not enter every single category, but I will be present in a good number of them. 8 hours ago, Kangaroorex said: Dioramas are hands down my favorite entries. Fire_Eyes
I've never felt like I could pull off an open or diorama entry, but between the Bones Mashup class and Rex Grange's basing class (such a great class, I definitely recommend it), I feel like I already have entries to both started Also, I'm considering signing up for the mash up class multiple times next year. I had so much fun, and conversions seem a lot less intimidating now Edited September 5, 2019 by Fire_Eyes
Dicey
It was the first ReaperCon for my husband and I and we had the most fun of any convention we've ever attended. So much so that I joined the forums just to be around you wonderful people more. We really, really want to go back. Now, if I could just convince my mother-in-law to stop planning family activities for Labor Day weekend... We blew her off this year, but I'm not sure if we could get away with it every year. That said, we're already talking about next year like we're going, so... 47 minutes ago, Fire_Eyes said: I've never felt like I could pull off an open or diorama entry, but between the Bones Mashup class and Rex Grange's basing class (such a great class, I definitely recommend it), I feel like I already have entries to both started Also, I'm considering signing up for the mash up class multiple times next year. I hope that they are able to make a category for it or something similar like they were talking about. That seems like it could be fun. I think my husband and I are both considering entering our mashup creations next year. We both love them so much!
