Also take into account the line width of the drawing at that scale. I know I modified (with software) the line width of my own "Not Actually Cranky" ribbon picture several times to get a good balance of being visible and recognizable.

You will need an extra wide ribbon [top to bottom] in order to get all of that on and have it a legible size. Think 1 1/2 to twice the regular width for it to look right. I really like both the concept and the artwork GEM

Well, it looks like I might be able to go after all. Finances is the biggest hindrance but I just got my rent renewal notice and it ended up being considerable less that I was anticipating. So that frees up some money in my monthly budget that I can set aside for ReaperCon.
robbie042
I would love to come to a reapercon. Perhaps the good folks at reaper may consider the Idea of Euro-reapercon.
Cygnwulf
ReaperCon EU seems like a great idea, only potential drawback is I'm not sure how it works out for the staff who organize Reapercon....

I'm more worried about the factory visit. The commuting time will definitely interfere with some class schedules. 1 1

The commuting time will definitely interfere with some class schedules. I know this was tongue in cheek, but... How cool would it be to set someone up with a GoPro and do a virtual tour of the factory for the theoretical Euro con guests? ... Also important to note: at one point, there was already a Reapercon in Italy, but it was for fans of the Sons of Anarchy tv series. I think that con is now defunct, so it's probably not a barrier to a minis-related Reapercon in Europe, but worth checking out.

I think video might be under the "No video clause" that is in place for RCon classes. Granted it's not a instructor, but Reaper may not want trade secrets or something along those lines out on video.. Who knows??

I was more thinking of an official Reaper thing, not just a rando with a cell camera, but you might be right. Still, it'd be cool.
Dilvish the Deliverer
There are already a half dozen tour videos on YouTube of the factory. Mostly the casting portions.
