I decided to do a quick prime of my kickstarter minis. Creatures on blue /green spectrum got grey primer, and those that are fleshier got a mix of yellow & brown primer and a drop of craft red because I had it handy.

No idea when I can next paint. Already did a good job obscuring some details.

So what did you think about the mold lines on these guys? Like too many other boardgame miniatures, they drove me (cough) insane... :;,;:

Not too many mold lines. I do find them very hydro phobic, which is unfortunate because best results have been with wet brush. Details are good in sonr places not in others. Lots of unreachable spots.

Some quick base coat attempts

Worked on most of the other stuff today... Some highlighting, basecoats and everything with skin got a flesh wash. Some of it's not too noticeable.

So I pulled my Reaper Mythos beasts to store with and noticed my Gug is missing an arm. Wonder what the chances support will be after a few  years. Not available locally at retail anymore. And an order from Reaper isn't really viable with shipping costs and I can't justify tons of new stuff when I have so much unpainted.

Got my gug replacement and a nice ghostly white sample bottle. So hopefully I can get back to painting these. Will be washing the reaper stuff and starting a new thread then
