Awesome. I got similar minis in my stash and I don't dare painting them as all those different shades of green (or other colors) are too daunting for me. You managed that perfectly.

Thanks! I'll be honest, this guy was pretty easy to get painted to this level, and there aren't that many colors (just seven bottles):

1. Don't glue it together to start!

2. Everything on the outside gets a green basecoat. Shadowy areas get a second pass to darken the color a bit.

3. Everything inside gets a rusty orange basecoat.

4. All the mouths and eyeballs outside get rusty orange.

5. Everything rusty orange gets a generous wash of red.

6. Teeth and eyes get white. This is pretty tedious, but it moved pretty quick for me. I used two different whites for the teeth and the eyes, but you don't have to. At this point, I also painted the skeleton white, then glued the two parts of the mini together.

7. Dots in eyes. (If you want to; blind or demon pupilless eyes wouldn't be awful). Most of these eyes are huuuge compared to a human at 28/32 mm, so I actually found it kinda fun.

8. A very controlled (very little paint on the brush at a time) wash of purple into the creases and pits on everything that isn't a tooth or an eyeball.

9. Some kind of base, et voila!

I really didn't do any layering on this beastie; all the shading is done with the red or purple washes, and the highlights kinda take care of themselves.

Great work picking out all the gums, teeth, and eyes cleanly.  That looks to have taken extraordinary patience.

This is one of those miniatures that I like in theory, but have a really hard time envisioning actually assembled and painted. I may have to use this as a guide if I ever bite the bullet and buy one.

Thanks, folks!
